My 54351 dehumidifier only collects about 1/2 cup of water in a 10 hour period, but after I turn it off for several hours, I later find over a quart of water in the collection bin.
I do have a high humidity rate when I run the unit and a temperature of over 70 degrees out. Can you tell me what is wrong and if it is something I can buy parts for and repair myself if needed?
-   Had this issue as well, put off looking for a solution, and then took it apart to check and see if any obvious problems were showing. I disconnected the power switch connection, and then reconnected it after looking around inside. Now nothing happens, except a clicking noise in the switch when turned to Extra Dry. Even before disassembling, the "Normal" mode had stopped allowing any operation of the unit.

I am looking to purchase an everstar airconditioner/dehumidifier. I was looking to see the value if purchased brand new and if this is a good product. The asking price is $275.00 with 50 ft of hose to drain outside. Thank You for your help, Kristina
