my belkin wireless card f5d7010 stopped working so I uninstalled the card and the software.

I've tried installing the software/card using the software on the CD provided without success. Downloaded the correct software (Version 3) from belkin, still no success.

I continually get the message 'THis device cannot find enough free resources that it can use (Code 12).'

Belkin's technical support is useless, all they say is there is a conflict of resources but it's impossible to diagnose this as the card isn't being loaded so you can't see if/where the conflict is.

    I'm using XP with SP3

For dwayne12, on the installation CD of XP, you must have the driver.

For UKNICK, before installing your card, you must disable the internal device in the BIOS.

IBM Desktop internet is not working

Go to Control Panel...Devices...Network>>>>and when you see the command lines right click on any and all individually to update drivers for these connections. If you see a symbol with a mark inside it, on any reference line, that means it failed to register. Delete it and when you restart, try to update the next time around. Lastly, try IBM for the fix.

I have a ibm t23 think pad that is not allowing the wireless adapter to connect to the wireless network

click start and go to control panel then select device manager. Click on the arrow or plus sign beside network adapter and select the wireless device driver. Right click on it and select uninstall and restart your computer after. After it restarts, your computer will automatically reinstall the driver you deleted.

If it doesn't work, download the driver update from the ibm website: Just make sure you're downloading the driver for WLAN that's compatible with your operating system. You may also have to update your firmware.

You need to download the driver to another computer then transfer it to your ibm by cd or usb drive or even floppy.

After you have the eternet installed then I would visit the Windows Update site and run a custom update so that it will detect missing drivers and install them. It might not detect everything but that's a good place to start.

Let me know if you have any other questions or problems.

Best of luck!

Here's a link to the network controller drivers at IBM. These drivers manage both the ethernet and wireless. Be patient, you may have to download several before finding the right one. Take a look at the wireless card (under a panel on the bottom) to see what type of card it is, Intel or Broadsom, and the model, this will help narrow down the driver. If you can't find the right one, send me info on how you get on the internet, wireless or ethernet cable, and what the make and model of the wireless card is, and I'll see if I can help.
