Question about Heating & Cooling
The liquid line solenoid valve is bad and is allowing just a bit of refrigerant through it after it shuts off and the compressor pumps down....this causes the pressure to rise a gain and then the compressor comes on to pump down again...
This will happen even if the system is in the off mode...
the valve will need to be replaced... that requires the system to be evacuated and then recharged...
