I have the same problem, bought five different screws from five different hardware stores including home depot, lowes, ace and mom an pops. Nothing seems to fit and hampton bay's website is a joke. And my fan is only about 3-4 years old. Hate to throw a perfectly good fan away over somethin as petty as this but.... looks like we're gonna have to bite the bullet bro. 70 bucks down the drain over 2 dollars screws. Wont be dealing with hampton bay anymore.

Get screw thread size & length for lc26Ga5u

Which screws are you talking about? My 26" Sharp uses metric screws for everything but there are several different sizes. If you're looking at the wall mount screws, find the metric screw that will thread easily by hand and limit the length to about 1" long. (Check Lowes or home depot in the hardware section.)

I have an MKM6003 grinder, the blades are not moving fast enough

I had the same problem and had disassembled the complete machine. I found many videos on youtube how to take off the blades, but all solutions does not work. The motor does not turn when I turn the blades. The blades are screwed, but as long as the motor does not turn I can't disassembly the blades. After nearly two hours I was so frustrated that I take it off with brutally power and then I saw the problem: The thread (german: Gewinde) was made of plastic and was destroyed by the thread of the metal axis of the motor. The axis was wrapped with parts of the plastic thread. So, if you're not worry to disassembly this device you have to buy a new blade: http://www.bosch-home.com/de/store/product/Messer/00176106. Copy and paste the material number to search for that part in your country.

I have had a Hampton Bay Antigua Plus 56'' ceiling fan for about four years now. The blades have sagged so much that now I cannot even put the globe over the lights. I only want to know if there is any way...

Try not to take that person serious. I would tighten the screws on the brackets around the fan. Only a phillips screw driver needed for this task. The blades on mine are hardened wood.lol.
However, the problem I have is with finding a replacement bracket:
ST306-002-22
I found that Hampton Bay is a wholly owned subsidiary of Home Depot (look it up). That being said, I contacted Home Depot and the associate had no protocol in getting me in a better direction.
The problem I have is the lacking of integrity shown by Home Depot in this particular situation. I knew nothing about Hampton Bay ceiling fans being that of a subsidiary onto Home Depot. I am a potential customer to the Depot but, will attempt to research all methods possible to save myself an unnecessary trip to flirt with possibility of a non-fitting universal bracket. BALLS!!!

Need a hard to find machine screw

I looked it up on the internet using Google. It's listed as a standard US Hex bolt size. It's a pretty fine thread for that size bolt. Call your local Lowes or Home Depot first, then try the internet.

Lost screws to attach fan blades on ceiling fan

This is not a 'promo' for Home Depot but you will find the screws there that you need.
You will need 15 screws, with an 'unfinished' appearance, for the attachment of the five blades to the arms, and 10 screws that have a smooth rounded finish to attach the arms to the motor housing. If they do not have it in stock they can order ot for you.
If you have an electrical fan store in your area you should be able to find the items there as well.
If you have an old discarded ceiling fan, take the screws out of it and try them on your current fan, they should work.
Good luck. :)
