Rudd Rheem 1068-311 62-23599-04 board how do I change blower speeds?

psc motors have 4 speeds each colored black blue yellow red and white. there are speed taps on the board labeled heat, cool, even heat/cool and usually Park or M1 male spade fittings for the unused speeds. on the door will tell you speed chart by wire color ie black is high and red is low speed. newer models ask you not to use red for heat. to change speeds is by changing wires and their system mode taps. (beware the push release female end locks into the board) If using black for both and there is a heat/cool tap make sure that the separate taps cool or heat are empty, or motor will receive 120 volts twice. 1 thing to remember a 3.5 ton blower with a 2 ton air cond. wouldn't want to use black too much air flow.
If you have a variable speed its all in the bible for a manual and which dip switch position for cfm air flow.

St9120u

The X and C are the incoming low voltage from the transformer. They go to the X AND C with the xtrfm in the middle. Hopefully you marked all your motor leads!?!

The fan inside the furnace cycles on and off several times before finally turning on completely.

You may have a variable speed blower that is not wired correctly to the thermostat or the problem could be the ciruit board.

My Rheem Air Handler runs all the time,a/c works fine and cools the house but I want the air handler to kick off when not in use. It's model RBHA-14J00NFRA Volts 208/240VAC PH/HZ 1/60

IS your thermostat set to automatic on the fan switch? If so then you may have a stuck fan relay in the air handler. If it has an electronic control board the relay is on the board and the whole board would need replaced. If it is not a stuck relay then you could have a crossed wire from the thermostat to the air handle, usually the green wire from the t-stat, it could be crossed with the red wire that supplies 24 volts to the t-stat.

Rudd achiever serie. where do the 24 volt wires go to on the air handler.

The two wires from condensing unit go yellow or y from Tstat and theother wire goes brown if it is a Rudd or Rheem. Red from Air HAndler goes to Tstat R Green to Tstat G white to w. If it is digital tstat brown goes to C.

Wiring match-up

If this is a standard heat cool unit. You have a tstat with rygwcob. Just color code the wire to the unit. Some air handlers such as Rheem and carrier use different collors for there common Carrier black Rheem or Rudd Brown. Two wires that go outside use yellow blue. Yellow to Y fron Tsta and blue to common or blue, blavk or brown.or C
