Hello,
I was wondering if you can be of any assistance with my ipod nano, it wont charge when i plug it into the usb. my usb recognizes a device being plugged into its port by making a chime sound as its being connected, but then shortly after it makes that chime off sound as if its being disconnected yet its still plugged in.. It'll repeat this chime on and off several times, my ipod will say connected and then say you may disconnect, but will not charge.. I plugged the device into another usb port of my friends computer thinking it was my usb but still the same thing is happening with it.. If you have any idea what this may be please let me know.. Thank you..
Could be a problem with the motherboard and the connector interface (where you plug in the USB into the iPod). Do you have access to an ac charger you could try? That would eliminate the USB interface issue and point more to a motherboard issue.
If that does not work, then please consider the FREE
