Rated Output at 20% Duty Cycle 150 A at 16 VAC
150 A at 16 VDC Welding Amperage Ranges AC/DC 10 - 165A Max. Open-Circuit Voltage 80 V Amps Input at Rated Output AC-230V: 21A
DC-230V: 23A You need to configure the machine to specifications of the material you going to weld. That is :
-The material of the job
-And the proper amperage to use for the material.
-For aluminum you will use A/C
-Stainless Steele / Chrome Molly D/C

Aluminum MIG Welding
1. The best feeding of wire for aluminum is done with a spool gun. If you can't use a spool gun, use the shortest gun possible and keep the gun as straight as possible. Use Argon only for shielding gas. Only use a push gun technique when welding aluminum. 2. If you are having feeding problems, one thing you can try is a contact tip that is one size bigger than your wire. 3. The most common wire type is ER4043 for all-purpose work. ER5356 is a stiffer wire (easier to feed), and is used when more rigid, higher-strength weld properties are needed. 4. Clean the aluminum before welding, to remove the oxide layer. Use a stainless steel wire brush used only for cleaning aluminum. 5. Fill the crater at the end of the weld to avoid a crack. One way to do this is to dwell in the weld pool for a second at the end of the weld.

My frigidaire range/oven model FEF365BWC is not working the surface and the oven are both not heating up. Everything other than that are working the oven light and the clock are working fine

You are not getting 240 volts to the heating elements. Go outside to the circuit breaker panel and find the circuit breaker for the range. It will be two breakers with their reset handles linked together so if one breaker trips so will the other. That's the part that isn't working correctly. Only one is tripped allowing the controls and lights to operate . Try manually resetting it. It most likely won't work, so you'll have to replace the circuit breaker.

Holmes hch6150 will not produce heat

Without having the heater to tear apart to see what is not working, you may try the following. Your heater is a 1500 watt heater and pulls about 13 amps of current. If you plug it into a recepticle that is already have load turned on, most recepticle circuits are rated for 15 amps and you have probably tripped the breaker for this circuit. Check your breaker panel to see if a breaker is tripped. If it has tripped, this will tell you your pulling to much current. Try another circuit that allows the heater to operate or find the other load on the circuit that is causing the breaker to trip. By the way to reset the breaker take the breaker to full off, this resets the trip, and then turn it back to on.
Hope this helps

Starting tripping circuit breaker

Good Afternoon Dennis - Often when this occurs, it is because there are too many appliances on the circuit or something may have a weak or poor breaker. Try plugging the unit in a different location or on its own circuit. If the issue continues, then it could also be possible that something shorted within the unit. So in this case, because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than the actual unit replacement. You may want to check and see if your dehumidifier is still under warranty and if so, reach out to the manufacturer to determine the exact warranty coverage. Thanks for allowing me to help you.

My Heat Surge was working fine, then it just went out. It is plugged in, but when I tried to start it again, it wouldn't light. HELP!

Tirn the Master ON/OFF switch to OFF. Unplug the unit for 12 to 15 minutes. This should allow the unit to reset itself. Plug the unit back in and turn the Master Switch to ON. If it reset itself, it should work normally. If it doesn't test the wall outlet it's plug into to make sure it still has power. Unplug the heater and plug in a lamp to see if it works. If it doesn't the circuit breaker in your homes breaker panel has been tripped and needs to be reset. More than likely, your Heat Surge Heater tripped the breaker, because of a malfunction.

Hope this helps solve your problem.

I have a bfh5000 bionaire electric heater and it wont turn on and the red light blinks ???????

First turn the heater off using the On/Off switch. Then unplug the heater for 12 - 15 minutes. This will allow it time to reset itself if possible. Then plug the heater back in and turn it ON. If it didn't reset itself, check the receptacle its plugged in to to make sure that it's still working. If it's not, the circuit breaker for that receptacle has been tripped and will need to be reset in your home's circuit breaker panel. If the heater trips it again, there is a short somewhere in the wiring of the heater, which will have to be repaired.

Hope this helps you Troubleshoot the problem. Please let me know.

We have to put only a half load of clothes in dryer and then run through at least 2 - 3 cycles before they will dry, sometimes more. Someone told me it sounds like a sensor might be bad, and that there are...

A simple fix may be to just reset the circuit breaker. Sometimes on a double pole circuit one breaker trips which still allows for the dryer to operate with little or no heat. If that does not work, check the vent to insure good air flow and no blockage. If either of these do not resolve the situation you need to look at the thermostat or the heating element itself

Dryer trips circuit breaker smell almost like something burning coming from dryer

In order to trip a circuit breaker, there is almost for sure, a dead short to ground. Takes quite a bit to trip a breaker. The smell is most likely something electrical burning. Stop resetting the breaker and have it checked out. Continous resetting and tripping can cause more damage. The breaker is doing it's job.

How to manually reset an AO Smith 2 hp motor?

If you did not press a reset ( and even if you did) the motor is damaged and that is causing the circuit breaker to trip. You need to have the motor inspected to see if the damage is repairable or if you need a new motor. A local electric motor repair shop should be able to take care of that for you. The thermal overload has reset itself if after cooling down the motor is trying to start but trips the breaker.

To be certain it is the motor, disconnect the line leads and be sure they are insulated from ground and one another. Turn the breaker back on. It should stay closed which confirms it is the motor tripping it when connected.

If for some reason the breaker still trips, there is a problem with the electrical circuit feeding the pump.
