Question about Epson CX8400 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I Dont know where my Instruction manual is.
How do I scan photos onto the computer?
<< In order for you to scan images or txt doc's from the scanner unit or all in one printers., You will an application to do that >>
> For Epson All in one printers you can use the application that came with the cd driver called
( Epson Scan ) or you can download it from the Epson Website.
try this link >> http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/SupportIndex.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=-10582&infoType=Overview
You need to select the model of your printer ( click on it ) < Drivers and Downloads >
choose your operating system and download the ( Twain Driver and Epson Scan Utility )
> If Epson Scan is already installed to your computer., Launch or open Epson Scan and on the upper
right corner of the window there are mode options you can choose from ( Home Mode., Professional Mode., etc ) you may want to use "Home Mode" its user friendly,
here's the link for the "user's guide" >> http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Doc&oid=90342&prodoid=63069506&category=Products
> If you have a windows system you might try using "MS PAINT" its a windows based application.
Click on Start / All Programs / Accessories., and look for "Paint" ( click on it )
on the Paint Window click on File and then click on From Scanner or Camera., just follow the step
by step instructions how to acquire / scan an image/doc's from your scanner. ( in some cases it will ask you which scanner to use if you have multiple imaging devices connected t your computer )
note :> if the "From Scanner or Camera" is graded out ( your scanner is not detected by your computer or it needs a twain driver to be recognized by your computer )
