See if you can find any information on changing the brightness of existing videos in your manual, if you look at the top of the camera, right next to the on/off button, there is a button with a little lightning-looking symbol above it, that is the flash button, try pressing it while recording video to see if it lights the scene.

Im using a canon eos 1100D my pictures are dark when im using the built in flash

The range on your pop up flash is only about 15 feet, if your subject is further than that they will be underexposed. Try bumping up your ISO, also you can increase your flash exposure compensation by as much as two stops.

Sony cybershot t300 lcd screen remains dark when switched on

Hi,
Your camera must be experiencing these symptoms due to a faulty CCD, and not due to other problems. If the problem is due to your dropping the camera, you might be out of luck.
If you have not dropped your camera and still facing this problem, then contact service people to replace the CCD imager in your camera .

Hope this helps .

HP r707 video is cmming ok but the picture taken

It probably takes good pictures in the dark, with the flash, right?
Very likely the CCD sensor is broken. Try to contact HP if they issued a recall for the faulty sensor.

Dropped Nikon Camera Sadness

Hi Al
not sure if i can help here but will try.
Ive not owned the D50 but i have the feeling the highlights function is similar to other cameras in the Nikon range.

On your cursor when viewing an image, just press down on the cursor maybe once or twice to remove the highlights .This is just a pointer for you like the histogram.

Now it seems like you may have damaged the sensor and will not collect enough light.

Try setting the camera to A = aperture priority and take a shot in bright light...no flash.

Are the images still dark ?

If so raise your iso to 800 and shutter speed to 1/250 at F5.6 aperture in mode S =shutter priority and take the shot in bright conditions.

Are the shots still dark ?

Black pictures when using flash

The black images with flash mean that the Iris mechanism in the lens is not working properly, and that needs a professional camera repair service.

CLICKING NOISE

The clicking noise is the internal focus lens. The S500 and S600 are very succeptible to debris getting in the lens. Or, the focus lens was knocked out of alignment.

Take a movie, then try to download it. If you captured video, then camera works, but your screen is damage and may need replacing.
