The most important step to protect your eyes from sun damage is to wear the proper sunglasses whenever you are in the sun. Sunglasses come with different UV classifications, but you will need one that prevents preferably 100 percent of both UVA and UVB rays. If you are unable to wear sunglasses, wear a hat with a wide brim that covers your entire face. If you have suffered a sunburn on your eyelids, place a cold compress over your eyes for 15 minutes every hour until the burning has subsided, then place a coating of aloe over the eyelids.

Getting rid of sun spots on my face

1) You needed a hat
2) You needed to apply sun screen every couple of hours.
3) Not all sun screens are equal.
4) The primary way to avoid sun damage is to stay out of the sun light. One day, people will walk around under umbrellas because of that.
5) Putting aside all the fraudulent claims of skin lighteners (might as well try lemon juice), beauty therapists can subject you to several treatments of a laser like device. It will sting your wallet more than your face. But you have to keep out of the sunlight following treatment or you are wasting your time. If you think you will be able to wander around for half an hour directly exposed to the sun, you are dead wrong. It will undo any therapy. Other than this method and some self-discipline, you would have to resort to makeup, something like Thin Lizzy.

Sun damage is such an issue in Australia that they have a slogan: Slip, slap, slop referring to preparation to go out in the sun. Hope you are wearing sun glasses.

Choosing sunglasses for summer and spring. There's a good chance that you'll be spending a lot of time outdoors during this time of year. Because of this, you will need to look for sunglasses that can shield the harmful rays that the sun gives off. If you're not careful, you can actually damage your precious eyes. To avoid this, make sure that you find sunglasses with a UV400 rating at the very least. This will prevent the sun from damaging your eyes. You also won't have to worry about squinting while you're out having fun in the park or at the beach.<br /> Did you know that there are different fashion trends for sunglasses throughout the seasons? Typically, spring and summer calls for lighter, thinner frames. This is because you'll need them to be light while you're sweating it out in the sun. Bright and light colors are also very in during this season. You can get away with bold colors and patterns on your frames. Also, colored lenses tend to be appropriate in this time as well.

What does SPF mean? I see it all the time on sun lotions etc but am not sure what it means.

SPF stands for sun protection factor and usually has a number next to it which defines its strength. The ingredients in it will prevent the sun rays from reaching your skin for a length of time (the higher the number, the longer it works). If you see a product that says it's sunblock, it won't have an SPF number on it as it blocks the sun altogether.

I want to get a wooden outdoor bench, but what about weather damages overtime?

If you prefer wood, then you should definitely go for the long lasting woods like Eucalyptus, cedar and teak. If you like metal benches, make sure they are painted in water resistant color and that they are also rust resistant.

If you move your camera from say home to the beach or take it from a cold room into the sun you will notice your lens fog up. Some cameras are just overly sensitive to this effect and can cause them to shut off to prevent damage to the internal components. Try waiting a while for the camera to equalize with the environment and it should be fine. If not it may indicate water damage.

How sun effect our eyes?

When your eyes begin to tear or squint due to bright outdoor light, your eyes are creating a natural defense against UV ray, which are harmful and can affect the eyes. Even if you wear sunglasses on every sunny day, you still may not be doing enough to protect your eyes from those dangerous rays. After years of going unprotected, your eyes will eventually break down and disease may be inevitable. In order to prevent diseases from affecting your eyes, you must wear sunglasses that are at least UV400, and keep your eyes shaded as much as possible.

My battery is dead, can't get the door open to pop the hood.

Is your door frozen shut? To prevent paint or body damage do not heat the door with flame, water or hot air. Just be patient and let the sun defrost the door. Once the ice is gone, unlock the door with your key.

If this is not an option, if it is remote only, you will have to call a lock smith. In SOME communities, the police can free a locked door ... it might be worth a call.
