If the amp is in protect mode, it probably has shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible problems, do the following. I'll assume that you've checked the amplifier's on-board fuses.

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.

Disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect signal cables from the amp. If it powers up, the wiring needs to be checked. If it remains in protect mode, the amp almost certainly has shorted output transistors and will need to be repaired.

Hey i dont know to much about amps, but me and my friend (he knows a decent amount about amps) would plug the power into the amp and the green light would come on. Though when we plug it into the subs, the...

Are you connecting positive to positive and negative to negative from the sub to the amp? If so, try positive to positve (+) in the far left channel and then the negative to negative (-) on the far left channel to. If no luck do the same in the other channel with one sub at a time. Try one sub at a time, Dont try an connect 2 or more subs to one channel as this would cause the amp to go into protect mode (red light you describe). Usually the positive wire has either a line down the wire, writting on it or has a red seperate wire with it when wire end stripped to connect it. Hope this helps and please rate...

A red light appears within 30 sec. of being on. the more i tune it down the longer the green light will stay on. when its completely tuned down the light will stay green

yes you have a internal fault of the amp. the circuit that puts it into safe mode is bad and that is a very small chip on the board know as a op amp. needs to be repaired.

My protection mode red light comes on right when i put the fuse in my power line, even when my cars off!!! is it that my ground is bad? ineed some help!! oh ya, lol, its a ela300.1 bazooka amp!

Check your ground most definitly!, Replace it if needed. Check your remote wire and power wire as well. And if none of this works, then you are having internal issues.

Green light blinks slowly on my JL Audio 300/4 amp

Check your fuse at the battery. While AGU glass fuses "look" good, when you read the voltage AFTER the fuse, you can only be getting 5 volts or so. I can't tell you how many times I have seen this.

Red Led Light on My Bazooka Ela300.1

Your amp went into a " Protection Mode "
this happens if you have blown something inside like a IC or something... if the amp have been dropped or bumped then its very likely to happen ... Check and see if your fuses are ok, if not then it would be best to let it be checked by a expert if its a IC or a cap inside
Cheers
