Question about Hoover Vacuums
Depending of your model, some have a duct that sits in front of the recovery tank, if yours has this, is the duct in place? Most have a foam filter on the inside of the recovery tank lid, make sure that there is at least a 1/4 in gap from the filter to the top of the tank lid. There is another filter you can get to from the bottom, it has a red frame and you can pull it ou far enough to clean it. One other thing is that the tank lid isn't latched in the back of the tank. Any of these will cause no suction.
