The answer to your question is a big YES.
Every printers manufacturer maintain a website and a column for downloads of the software and drivers free of cost on his website.
For example www.hp.com.
type in the model number of the prnter and select the option for drivers and you will get the software and drivers for that particular model.
So i request you to please log on to your printer manufacturers website and download the software to install your printer.
