Id have a small appliance tech look at it , if there is other parts ruined I missed id rather pay him his diag fee than waste money on a two hundred board that's not going to fix it ! It would go towards a new one

My tumble dryer is completing cycle but heaters are not working and cloths are not drying. There are two thermister or sensor on drum. One of them is not showing continuity. Is it possible we can get

Almost every dryer i have seen repaired with heating issues has been due to element failure. Thermisters are cheap. Change them if you suspect. I have found meLted elements. Some very small but had to remove the element to inspect. to find the problem. even if open partially it will never heat up properly.

Low fuser temperature during warm up. This means that the heater lamp is not coming on or if it is the machine can not see the heat. This is most commonly caused in these Ricoh's by thermister failure. The thermister is a small electronic part that reads or monitors the temperature of the heat roller. The thermister fails, the machine fails to see the machine heating up and pop goes the SC542. The thermisters are pretty in-expensive at around $20.00. The expensive part is usually the labor to have a tech come out and change them.

Can someone please help me....i have a konica 7040 copier which recently reads an error ( F-35-1 ).

This code is for fuser heat failure. The fuser is the part that heats up and "fuses" the toner onto the paper and is located right where the copies exit the machine. The code means that the fuser is not heating properly or if it is the machine can not see the heat due to a defective thermister. You are going to need a service tech to come look at the machine due to several components within the fuser that can cause this code. You could have a bad thermister, heater lamp, thermal switch or some bad contacts. There is also a somewhat complicated reset procedure using the service mode that must be used to clear this code once repairs have been made.

I have a xerox machine for ricoh mp 1600 le. now i have a error of 542. so please tel me what is the problem of xerox machin?

SC542 code on Ricoh's means that the fuser unit is not heating up properly. The fusing unit is the part that "fuses" or fixes the toner onto the paper and is located right where the paper exits your machine. Most of the time the SC542 code means that the thermister(s) in the fusing unit have failed. The thermister measures the temperature in the fusing unit. When these go bad the machine can not "see" the unit heating up so it throws the code. The thermisters will need to be replaced and the code cleared out from the machines memory by gong into the service mode. I would recommend calling your local service provider to effect repairs.

Kyocera KM1530 photocopier. What does C610 mean? It is comin gup on the display when we turn our machine on.

C610 = Fusing Unit Heat failure. The fusing unit is the part that gets hot and "fuses" the toner onto the paper. The C610 code means that the fuser is not heating up as it should. The 2 most common causes are thermal fuse failure or thermister failure. The thermal fuse will keep the heater lamp from coming on while the thermister failure would cause the machine to not "see" the temperature rising as thus shut down the machine. Either way you will need a service company to come out and diagnose/repair the machine. You must also use the factory service mode to reset the fuser failure code.

Spots on paper

There is limited information about this problem.
Whenever performing any servicing on the machine on your own, unplug the machine from the wall, First!
If there is competitive toner used in this machine, try using a different manufacture. Use the original manufacture that makes this machine first.
The entire toner has to be taken out and complete vacuumed. The developer housing needs to be completely free of any competitive toner.
Install the new original manufacture toner. Make sure it is from the manufacture themselves
The base of the machine inside needs to be clean because the toner will drop on the paper tray, this will cause paper jams. The toner drops and contaminates the feed rolls making them slip on the paper.
Extra care needs to be used when cleaning below the developer housing, especially by the Transfer corotron. If one breaks this wire, the entire corotron channel needs to be replaced.
This corotron assemble can cause different problems when it is not working. Light copies, faded copies with some images on the paper is an indication this transfer corotron is not working properly.

If the fuser assembly looks like it is in poor condition, the best thing would be to replace it. This fuser modual has stripper fingers that wear and will not take the paper off the heat roll properly. If the heat roll has a coating of toner on it, this toner will ride against the heat temperture thermister sensor. At this point, the temperature sensor is not working properly and can even shut down the machine due to poor heat sensing.

Do not try to clean this sensor.

A new fuser assembly would be the right choice.
The new assembly also has a number on top of it, either it is circled or just stamped. This needs to be entered into the machine for proper fuser operating temperature.

For better servicing have a trained service representative service the machine by the original manufacture.
This is a good machine if it has been good to you in the past.
Pay the price and be safe.
Good luck.
