Suddenly it is plugged into what? The TV only works when a signal is sent to it. The TV is probably fine, but of course it's the messenger. Must be where the problem is.
Georgine you should have a button on your EMERSON remote that says input or source. Press that button and a menu should come up with a list of options use the arrow keys in the center of the remote to highlight VIDEO Press enter or the circle button in the very middle of the remote
This blue light flashing means there is power to monitor bu NO video
signal. No Analog or digital Video . analog is the regular plug for PC
to Monitor, the other is HDMI digital or other digital. Check signal
digital/analog means again: No video signal from PC detected.
HD TVs do have different cables, I went to Time Warner and swapped my regular box for an HD box, the cable ends are blue red and white, I believe. Also in order for my box to work on the screen I have to switch to "Component" instead of "TV". Hope I helped!
