SOURCE: shuts off after slowe burning ,8888 flashes, and all burner lights fash. Monitor 441 oil heater.

There is specific instruction on web site for 8888 code flashing, as bbtoast has instructed.

From a distance we are unable to do the test procedure, you will need to do it, follow the instructions given on THIS PAGE. you also will need a multimeter to test for the 2.4volts and also a 10K ohm resistor to test.

Without testing as instructed here are your options
06c7dee.jpg plus failure of combustion motor.

Sorry no magic wand available, you will need to get your hands dirty, part identifiers and circuit diagrams are also on given site

I think you will find that Brian has already indicated this much and there is not anything more anybody could tell you.

Cheers.

SOURCE: operating manual for MPI monitor heater

Hi, whats the difference between a "Model 41" and a "Model "441" Monitor heater? Are the manuals interchangeable and its simply a generational thing?

Thanks

SOURCE: e13 code, monitor 2400

You have an obstruction in your fuel line. Lint or rust or some other debris, either in your main fuel filter which I hope you have or in the small one in the fuel sump on the lower right hand side (the little square hole below the round finger hole for the reset button). The screen is cleanable with air or brakekleen or both. Or it might be that your Constant Level Valve is tripping or has tripped. Push the button in the round hole on the lower right hand one time quickly (don't hold it down or press it several times slowly) and you should hear the float drop. Fuel should resume flowing to the fuel sump at that time.

I have an mpi monitor heater flashing e-17 code..... Any ideas?

You probably have the GF1800 or GF3800 model.

The E-17 code means: Flame Failure

Possible Causes:
There are obstacles at circulation air inlet or outlet.
Fan cage is clogged with dust.
Gas pressure dropped when other gas
appliances are turned on.

Monitor MPI it flashes F 13 or 14 & smells, I had it cleaned 6 months ago

The codes are "E" Codes. an E13 is no fuel. E-14 means flame rod malfunction. Unplug the heater then reconnect, this will reset the heater. Try your red prime button. Could also be the fuel pump or your fuel source feed line isn't flowing fuel.

E-14 code mpi monitor 2400

It sounds like you have a fuel problem, check to see if there is some kind of blockage in the line or at the tank value.

MPI monitor flashing e17 code

yea there is an e17 error code on at least the monitor gf3800. the error code means according to the manual and other online resourses means that the fan is blocked, the intake or output vent is clogged, or there is insufficient fuel due to another appliance running on the same either lp or natural gas using the pressure. Apparently there are other reasons for the error code, as mine is also flashing e17 and all vents are clear, fan operates normally, and this is the only lp appliance I have in the house. Searched the internet for answers and only found the same question. hope someone figures this thing out and posts it somewhere (anywhere) on the net. you figure it out, let me know.
