A frame has 4 basic frame sizes.1. Eye Size - refers to the horizontal width in millimeters of one of the frame's lenses.
2.Bridge Size - measurement is the distance in millimeters between the two lenses. It is measured between the two closest points of the two lenses.
3.Temple Size - is measured along the length of the temple, from one end to the other, including the bend.
4.Vertical Size (B) - refers to the vertical height of an eyeglasses lens, and is measured from the tip to the bottom of the lens aperture of the frame. The measurements are taken from a horizontal line intersecting with the top of the lens, to the horizontal line intersecting with the bottom edge of the lens. The B measurement is only important when ordering multifocal lenses; follow this link to read more about progressive lenses.

Tips for Choosing Good and cheap sunglasses.

<br />UV Protection<br />&bull;Make sure the sunglasses you choose will block at least 99 percent of the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. UV-blocking glasses protect the cells in your eyes from damage that can lead to cataracts or macular degeneration. If you purchase sunglasses that don't block UV rays effectively, you will be missing out on the most basic function of sunglasses: protecting your eyes. Even the cheapest plastic lenses often come with 99 percent or 100 percent UV protection, so check the label before you buy. <br />Lens Type<br />&bull;When browsing the sunglasses rack, keep in mind that some lenses are better than others. Inexpensive sunglasses are usually fitted with plastic lenses, which come in many varieties. For driving or outdoor sports, polarized lenses are best--they block reflected light from the road, snow or water. For general-use sunglasses, grey-tinted lenses are recommended because they absorb light evenly and provide clear and comfortable viewing. <br />Frames<br />&bull;Although you will not be paying much for your sunglasses, you will still want them to last more than a few days. Cheap sunglasses made with metal frames are often flimsy and break easily at the joints. A pair of shades with sturdy plastic frames are likely to last longer than metal-framed sunglasses. Plastic frames are also preferable because they will not rust when wet, take longer to sink if dropped in water, won't get hot if left in the sun and are easier to find at the bottom of a pool.

I have the Bolle Limit 10387. Is it possible to put prescriptions in these sunglasses?

Bolle certainly sells prescription sunglasses for your style of frame. You would have to check with the company you want to get prescription lenses from if they can manufacture the lenses to fit your frames. They should be able to. Otherwise, you will have to go to Bolle to have them done. The other issue you may run into is that an outside lens manufacturer may not be able to get certain features in the lens Bolle may be able to offer. It will also probably void any warranty for the frames from Bolle you may have. I have found other online sites that offer prescription lenses for your frames, www.opticsplanet.com

How to pop in the lens on an Oakley Spike that came out.

Be careful by doing something like this by yourself because it could easily crack the lens or break the frame. If you want to try it yourself you can try by heating up the frame with something as simple as a hairdryer so when you put the lens in you can mold the frame around it and this will make it easier to bend the frame to get the lens in easier. The better way of doing this is simply finding a eye glasses store or a sunglasses store and ask them if they could do it for you quickly. Most places won't mind and many will do it for free especially if you bought the sunglasses there or are already a customer.

How to Repair Ray-Ban Sunglasses. ?Replace a lost or missing screw in your...

How to Repair Ray-Ban Sunglasses.<br />&bull;Replace a lost or missing screw in your Ray-Ban sunglasses with a small piece of wire. Push the earpiece back into place on the sunglasses and gently wiggle a small piece of wire through the screw hole. Pull the wire through the opposite end and push it back through. Push the wire through at least three times and use your pliers to twist together the ends.<br />Fill a small bowl with warm water and set your sunglasses in it. This is a quick trick for fixing loose frames. The warm water heats up the frames, making it possible to reshape the glasses yourself. Remove the sunglasses after a few minutes and gently bend the frames.<br />Hold the Ray-Ban sunglasses in one hand to replace a lens that popped out. Turn the sunglasses over, so that the front faces down and place the lens onto the back. Gently press down with your other hand, until the lens pops back into place.<br />Use an eyeglass repair kit to replace any missing screws. The kits come with several small screws and a tiny screwdriver. Line up the screw to the proper hole and gently screw into place. If the screw won't go in, it means that your screw hole is stripped and you need to use the wire method.<br />Seal broken parts with instant glue. For broken frames, apply a thin layer of glue to one side and push the broken piece back into place. Hold until the glue dries. Instant glue also fixes lenses for wireless frames. Apply a layer of glue to the bottom of the top piece and push the lens in place.

How could I know which sunglass suites me?

Well, here are some advices on how to match your sunglass to your face: 1. Suare face: Most complimentary style of sunglasses for a square face: To minimize the width of the face, it is best to choose sunglasses that add length. This can be best achieved by buying sunglasses that are not as wide as the widest part of your face. It is also a good idea to soften the "squareness" of a face by more fluid, rounded style frames, so as to decrease the perception of a broad jaw line. 2.Oval face-Most complimentary style of sunglasses for an oval shaped face: Generally any type of sunglasses suits an oval face, but just make sure that the size of the frame is proportionate to the face. 3.Round face: Most complimentary style of sunglasses for round shaped face: To sharpen a round face, select frames with straight or angular lines that will help make the face look thinner and longer.
4.Diamond face:Most complimentary style of sunglasses for a diamond shape face: Glasses that are oval, shaped or rimless are very complimentary for this type of face.
5. Rectagle face-Most complimentary style of sunglasses for squar shaped face: To compliment this style of face, it is best to choose sunglasses that will shorten the face and widen the face, both at the same time. The best style of frame to choose is one that is round, or deep to help soften the face.
6.Triangle face-Most complimentary style of sunglasses for a Base-Down Triangle face: To compliment this style of face, it is best to emphasis the top part of your face with strong balancing frames. 7.Inverted triangle-Most complimentary style of sunglasses for an inverted triangle face: Choose a type of frame that balances your face and broadens the lower part of your face. Low temples and rimless style of sunglasses are a good style to consider.

What shape face do aviator sunglasses best suit?

It depends on the aviator type you mean, since you have two: 1. http://www.smartbuyglasses.com/designer-sunglasses/Ray-Ban/Ray-Ban-RB3026-Large-Metal-II-Aviator-L2846-16200.html 2.http://www.smartbuyglasses.com/designer-sunglasses/Ray-Ban/Ray-Ban-RB3250-Aviator-OO471-16213.html Both frames would look good on almost everybody, although you should be careful with long faces. In that case, the second frame might not look perfect. In addition, you should ensure that the frame color suits the hair and skin color; a golden frame might look very good on somebody with a tanned skin and black hair, while it would absolutely not suit somebody with a white skin and blonde hair.
