Why can I hear 50 rear projection tv no picture yes on sound?

The projector and the audio system for the TV are completely separate. There are many reasons your projector may not be working, however it's failure will not always effect the audio which runs through it's own circuits and amplifier to the speakers. Think of this as if you had your computer's VGA out plugged into a projector and the mini audio output plugged into amplified speakers. One will not effect the other unless your problem is a loss of power.

How to connect speakers to projector

You first need to determine that you have an audio output available. then determine how loud you want it to be and what type of speakers you are going to use. You may have to preamp this and then to an amplifier and out to the speakers. If you give me a bit more, starting with whether or not you have an audio out, I can help you from there

The sound must be sent to an external amplifier system and speakers.
Audio cables must be connected from each peripheral device directly to the audio reproduction system

hi, it depends how you connect the DVD to the projector. the projector itself has only one speaker (mono) - not so good for movies. the "audio in" is a mini stereo plug (same as headphones). you will need a RCA to mini stereo convertor - red/white (or red/black) RCA to mini stereo plug.
or you can connect a RCA to RCA (red/white to red/white) cable to an amplifier which is connected to speakers.
or just plain speakers, but you'll probably need a convertor cable from RCA (red/white) to a female mini stereo plug).
these cables are pretty cheap and can be bought in any Radio-shack.
hope it helps....

How do you connect projector to satellite receiver

A satellite receiver is no different to connect when it comes projector than a vcr, dvd player etc.

There will be Video out RCA plug normally yellow in color. There there are two chords for Audio. Normally Red for the right channel and white for the left. Both RCA. If your receiver is mono, you will have only one audio.

There are corresponding jacks in the projector. There might be a video out and audio out in the projector. You can ignore those.

If you use a amplifier, The connections will go from receiver to amp and from amp to projector. It is a good idea to have an amp in between. You don't have to send the audio to the projector (which normally is not great sound quality). Just use the home hifi for it.

So summary of ideal connection :
-Video out receiver in yellow RCA to video in projector.
- One or two Audio out (Red+White RCA) from receiver to your Hifi Audio in

Listen to Hifi and watch thru projector.

How do i connect my projector with my tv

A TV is meant as a video display device, not a source. As such, it might have an audio output to run to something like a home theater amplifier, but it would be a truly rare TV that has a video output as well.

What you should do is connect another device such as a VCR that can act as a TV tuner. You can run the VCR's video and audio outputs to the projector, tune in the channel you want to watch with the VCR's tuner, and you're all set. If you're on a digital cable system and have a converter box, you can use the outputs from the converter box instead of bothering with the VCR.

Lost manual

The manual is available online quite easily. Just google.
As for the audio connection, this is one big drawback of the TDP ET20. it only has digital audio out so you can't connect it directly to headphones or ordinary speakers. You need a home theatre system or an amplifier that accepts digital audio. Or you need to buy a seperate digital to analog audio converter.

Big pain.
