How to fix Bluetooth wireless earbuds paired and connected to my device but no sound

Make sure that the pair on your output device states paired for phone and music. It can still pair for phone and data but not pair to stream music. This is common on android devices especially. If this be the case, unpair the device and forget (delete) the earbuds on your output device. Ensure any bluetooth devices like amazon Alexa, TVs and other common things are powered down. Turn the bluetooth on the output device off, then back on. Search for earbuds and follow manufacturer procedures to sync earbuds. Once found, pair. Ensure when a successful pair happens that they are paired for phone and music. It will tell you on the output device if the pair was successful for both. At this point make sure your volume settings are not muted or all the way down and you should be enjoying music if you have an app playing music.

I connected to my DELL desktop. No sound coming out. But I do get sound through normal speakers. Does the headset need charging ?

You have to set bluetooth as default audio device. For doing this, go to >Contro Panel> Sound and Audio Devices>Audio(Tab) and in Default Device choose bluetooth device2.gif.
In my case, I had problem when i installed SP3 on XP. I changed my bluetooth driver to "Toshiba Bluetooth Stack V6.00.10" and it worked for me.

Cannot hear music on bluetooth device from PC

Check your sound settings in Control Panel. If your using Win XP, go to Control Panel, than Sound and Audio Devices. Click the Audio tab and make sure, that under Sound Playback the Default Device is set to something with a "Bluetooth". For me it would be "Bluetooth hands-free audio". You might need to re-pair your BH-501 after doing this.

Winamp/bluetooth/plantronics p590

I have found that winamp doesn't automatically output through any hands-free headphones, therefore you need to go into Preferences on Winamp (Ctrl+P), go to:
-Plugins/Output
-select Nullsoft DirectSound Output -->configure
-select Device tab
-select 02: Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio
-click apply
If music is already playing, click STOP then PLAY, pause will not do it.

I have been looking for this fix all day on the internet, but finally worked it out myself.
Hopefully this post will make someone else's day less stressful!

No sound

go into the control panel - go into sound & audio devices - go to the audio tab - you should see default sound device with a pull down menu - pull it down and see if you have any other devices for audio playback - but first you need to enable your bluetooth speakers or you will never hear anything if you can change devices - same goes for the default recording device and default midi device - hope this helps you out.

Not able to connect Jabra BT 125 to Laptop

Correction to the above note...

You can connect your Jabra 125 to your computer's audio output and listen to music via the ear piece. You need to make the adjustments in the control pannel. Set the audio/sound output to the blue tooth. You also need to sync the earpiece to the pc via a dongle or bluetooth adapter on the pc. Works great...

No sound when recording

Well, looks like you went through all the steps, but I'm wondering about one thing... If you goto: Start -> Control Panel -> Sound and Audio devices There are 5 tabs at the top, 2 of which you'll be paying attention to "audio" and "voice". On these tabs are the record settings, which you will want to have the drivers for the m-audio in the record processes. For instance, I have 4 options in the record process: Logitech (mic built into camera) SoundMax (sound card) Bluetooth Audio (bluetooth server) BlueTooth High quality audio (bluetooth server) Out of the 4, I have logitech enabled in the record area (which isn't the right thing as the camera doesn't work anymore...jeez, found something that I need to fix on my PC now...)
