Checking the cable connection involves inspecting the integrity of the cable ends. On a LAN connection for example, both ends of the cable when properly connected should not be loose and an orange or amber light should be visible in the transparent plastic cable connector.

When i click the scan button it states check connection connect interface cable

It sounds like you have a bad connection. This could either be the cable itself, the plug on the cable, or you may have the cable connected wrong. Check to make sure that both plugs are securely in place.

I have a rca modem. And I pay my internet company on time. But on the modem the cable link blinks slowly and and I am not getting no internet connection. So I want to know if the cables are plugged wrong...

Of course the first thing to do is to check the connection of your cable all the way to the wall. Did you disconnect anything?
It is usually best to unplug the cable modem from anything connected to it and to check after you disconnect if from the power outlet and the cable. First connect the cable back and then the power and check what is going on there. If you are connected to Cable TV then of course check your TV set if you are getting anything.

you can try to log into the modem itself: For a RCA cable modem, you may need to navigate to http://192.168.100.1/moreInfo.html to view the diagnostics.

Connection for cable

A snowy picture is usually an indication of a bad ground. Check the cables at both ends to be sure that the braid(shield) is still intact and connected to the F-connector. Also, check the connections on the exterior of the house. You can also call the cable company and have them check the connections at the poles.

TV is fuzzy and not showing a clear picture

  1. If your set is connected to a cable TV box via coax cable check the connection on the cable box (both Input and out to TV connections) tighten if necessary.
  2. If your using a cable splitter to split the cable to multiple TVs check those connections also.
  3. If this fails to correct the problem you may have a bad cable which your cable provider should replace at no charge to you.

I have a G+ Router. After connecting all cables,

sounds like you do not have any physical connection. this is your layer 1 application. Check your cable to ensure that the mod ends are good. Check to see if you have a straight thru cable connected now. If so try a cross over cable.

When I select print all that happene is - sending data.

hi im josh in cebu phils. may i help you? friend try to check this: The first item to check is whether your printer is connected correctly to your computer. Check the connecting cable to make sure that the connections are tight. You also should unplug each end of the cable to ensure that none of the connecting wires are bent, making a bad connection. You might also want to change the printer cable. Cables can get old, and the wires inside can break; try a new cable and see whether this change fixes the problem.
good luck hope i helped you.

My computer won't recognize my new 80GB Seagate IDE hard drive so I need instructions of how to install it properly or some instructions after the install

Hello,

Go to the bios setup during boot & check whether this drive is shown there. If not, Check whether you have connected the drive rightly. i.e. the connections for IDE cable & power cable are securely connected.

Also, check whether you have setup the master/slave/cable select jumpers rightly..
Set the jumpers on your hard drive for cable select. If you have another drive also connected via same cable, then set the jumpers on that drive for cable select mode.

Alternatively, set one of the hard drives as master & other one as slave.

Also make sure that you have connected the cable in the right direction. Long leg of cable towards the motherboard side & short leg towards the hard drives side.

Hope this helps you friend..
