I have a 2005 Suzuki escudo. The FM radio tunes between 76mhz and 90mhz only. Is there any way of expanding the FM radio frequency beyond 90mhz? Thanks.

U got a Japanese version radio tuner!
The simpliest one that i did for that problem is BUY a locally made TUNER or u could buy a mini frquency converter that u could just plug in into ur ANTENNA socket and 12v power! If it is available in ur area!
They sure work!

How do i tune Mazda Demio (2004 model) radio to Southern African frequencies?

fm frequencies are just that fm frequencies ( not japanese, chinese ,english or anything else
it is a range of frequencies in the fm band that local stations broadcast on
so all you have to do is to turn the tuner knob until you get 107 fm
so as you turn the knob you will loose 89 and it will go probably 90.5 , 100.20, 102.7 etc and if there is a station broadcasting that your radio will pick up it will come in and then fade out as you keep moving the knob
you may have to change the mode as there are fm 1 ,fm 2,fm 3 bands to get your fm 107 as it will depend on what megahertz 107 is operating on

Bwm 525i radio

In the US, radio stations (FM at least), do not broadcast on the even frequencies...the radio will go 99.1, 99.3, 99.5, etc.

My Kenwood Radio (New) for my boat doesn't tune properly on FM. For example, it only tunes to 94,1 or 94,3 but not to 94,2 It is just ,1 digit off the frequency on most stations. Tried it on manua

Hi there,

Kenwood receivers are usually tuned for their intended destination country, hence the frequency "stepping" of the tuners may differ between countries.

Was this receiver originally intended for your country's frequency? If yes, then contact Kenwood customer service for further advice.

If not, contact your local Kenwood service agent and ask whether the frequency stepping can be reprogrammed.

How do you expand the FM band on a 2001 X-type Jaguar radio

FM band expanders are available on eBay. They will expand the FM band from 76Mhz - 90Mhz range to the 88Mhz - 108Mhz frequency range. Try eBay Australia, under "FM expander".

They fit very simply inline on your antenna wire (plug inline) and there's only one wire to connect to 12V + power supply... very easy to DIY.

My griffin roadtrip has reset its FM frequency range

This is what a Griffin technician advised me, and it worked! (Just choose US or EU mode, depending on your location.)
Sounds like your RoadTrip has inadvertently been reset to Asian tuning mode. To get it back to EU mode, follow these steps.

1. Press the function button.
2. Press and hold the Mode button until US, EU, and JP appear at the bottom of the screen.
3. Press the button that corresponds to the EU indicator on your screen.
4. Wait a few seconds for the regular tuning screen to return.
