Question about Samsung Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have a LE 46C6530 which seems to have problems maintaining a certain volume level. I am costantly having to adjust the volume on the remote control. The ideal setting is volume number 18 but quite often turning it up to 26/27 to actually hear it, then within a few minutes it is excessively loud , having to turn it back again. I have also bought a Sony TV cabinet /stand with integrated surround sound but have lip sync problems( with the sound actually before the lip movement) someone suggest an optical lead, but this doesn't make any difference. Hope you can help.

SOURCE: sounds don't align with lip movement

if you are saying that your tv has no sound to match the lips movements then you will have to get a tech to repair your tv the problem is in the audio circuit could be a cap or the audio output ic.if you are saying that the tv has sound but it is not syncronizing with the lip movements have your tech check the sync circuit it is possible that the operating voltage is too small to allow the sync circuit to operate.good luck my friend.

SOURCE: Have a sony KDL - 46v5100 volume problem

Tap the "Theater" button on the remote. You should see either "Theater Mode: On" or "Theater Mode: Off". If it is off, tap it again to turn it on and wait for it to go away. Now tap again (should say "Theater Mode: On") and then press and hold it for about a second. This should actually turn it off, as opposed to just pretending to. Works on my larger Sony KDL.

SOURCE: I have a 22 in. sylvania tv that as soon as i turn

Either your remote control's signals does not match the TVs reception frequency or the sound detecting and control section of your TV is faulty. I don't know the brand of the remote control you bought recently. Is Sylvania TV is coded to its manual of codes?. If the answer is yes, your tVs sound card is faulty, and should be replaced. There is no repair to this board, and only replacement as card form can be done. OK.

SOURCE: I just bought the Vizio E421VA and I am

we have had the same problem and I suggested to Hubby that we had better return it soon. He did some research and we are trying this: use the TV remote and press the center button "Select", Choose Audio, Make sure True Volume is set to On. I've only been watching for an hour but it very well may have solved the problem. Hope it works.

We have the stereo hooked up to the dynex 42'' tv, as we did our other tv, we can not mute the complete sound and also sometimes we cant turn the volume up and down whats going on?

Since you have it hooked up to the stereo system, you need to go to on screen audio set up and turn off the TV built-in speakers (you will be listening the TV sound through your stereo system speakers), then go to the audio output set up and set it to 'variable' so the audio output of the TV's RCA audio out put will vary with the volume control of the TV (not all TV will alow this function), you will need to set the stereo volume to certain level (around 9~10 O'clock setting) since the sound coming from the TV will be controlled by the TV remote volume control. You can otherwise set the TV output to be at 'fixed' level, which means the sound output of the TV will not be controlled by the TV remote volume control, you will use the stereo remote volume control to adjust the sound level instead. I hope this is clear to you.

Volume faders in mixer don't respond.

I hate to attempt to offer any suggestions for a person using CUBASE LE, since I am not a very successful user, myself. However, I may have a suggestion for you. First, the level sliders in CUBASE are not automatic (unless there is some setting I'm unaware of).

Are you attempting to change the volume of a track that is on your timeline? If so, I don't believe the sliders effect that. Instead, levels are changed by a "rubberband" method.

On your existing track, (the one you wish to modify volume on) you will notice a small + in the lower left hand corner, near the edge of your screen. If you click on that, the track is enlarged, and you will see another version of your audio track with a black line drawn horizontally through it. That line may be dragged up or down to increase or decrease volume.

Right now, my system is not working, so I can't quite remember the procedure, but you can place points on that black line to adjust volume up and down for select portions of your track, and not the entire track.

I think that's done by first clicking on the "R" associated with that track. Then, your cursor becomes capable of placing points, and you can adjust volume between the placed points.

I hope this helps. Best of luck.

Rear Speaker volume too low

Channel level output can be adjusted in the menu if you have the remote. Set the rear channel level volume higher and the fronts lower if need be, and then turn up the volume. Enjoy!

I had this problem and checked the main wire going from console to bass unit, it was loose from where I had moved the unit to insert another device (RCA Jacks). Apparently if the wire from the unit is loose, it over - rides the volume and by default adjusts it to 30. Additionally, I reset the system console and bass unit console, during this process. Try this, it might fix your problem.

Picture too large for screen

If the television is connected to a cable box such as Time Warner's HD box, the picture mode can be changed by pressing the '#' on the cable box's remote keypad (where the channel numbers are). This cycles the picture between zoom, normal, and stretch which could be cause of your problem.
