I broke off a piece of my stud nose cone. Can I replace this from the front of my machine? Does it unscrew out?
I have the same problem.

If this is one of the four studs you can do one of two things.
First is if you can get a pair of vise grips on it to back it out.
Other is to drill out stud and it should fall inside of the machine.
