Hello, do you know the serial number of the unit?

1 Answer

If this is one of the four studs you can do one of two things.
First is if you can get a pair of vise grips on it to back it out.
Other is to drill out stud and it should fall inside of the machine.
Good luck

Ice cream taste like oil...what is fix for this issue?

First of all, you MUST use food grade lubrication because it is not hazardous and wont be detected. Second is that it wont damage any seals on the machine like a petroleum based solvent would. Third is seals around the shaft are leaking.

Product comes out frozen after all night on standby in a 754 taylor

The same thing happened to my Taylor 8756 and it was the thermistor probe. The probe is a thin copper tube that is near the freeze cylinder. It cost me about $20 for the part and $200 for the labor to have a technician put it in. Hope this helps and good luck.

Taylor 8756. Electrical service too high???

As a general rule, most unit can handle a voltage of =/- 10% of rated voltage. I would call Taylor to be sure. You can get a "Buck and Boost" transformer that would lower the voltage but you may not need to.

I bought a used taylor ice cream machine. It is model number 8756-27 and it was manufactured in 1987. It is a water cooled machine ... Do you know how much water it uses daily?

You use ICE, not water and then rock salt is added over the ice to lower the temperature for making the ice cream.

The salt hastens the melting of the ice and thus lowers the temperature.
