Check your power cables. If everything is fine there, then you might want to consider getting a new power brick.

Wii has solid red light, won't turn on, faint ticking noise

if it was dropped check the bluetooth module , they can come unplugged and the wii will not function. Children love to put change in the wii which can short it out. Never bridge a fuse as it can cause unsafe conditions and potentially a fire hazard .

Keep getting error message, remove disc and turn power off

Error Occurred. Press the Eject button and remove the disc. Turn the power off and follow the instructions in the console manual.

First turn the Wii console power OFF, and remove the AC adapter's AC plug from the power socket. Next, check whether the disc is dirty or scratched. If it is dirty, gently wipe with a soft cloth from the center to the outside. Wait about 5 minutes. Then plug the AC adapter's AC plug back into the power socket and turn the console power on. If the same message still appears, the Wii console may be damaged. Turn the Wii console off immediately.

Remove the AC adapter's AC plug from the plug, and visit support.nintendo.com for additional troubleshooting or call 1-800-255-3700.

Wii makes grinding noise, when disc is inserted, it immediately ejects it, accepts it back in, then ejects it onto the floor while making horrible grinding noises

There is either something inside of your Wii's DVD Drive blocking the insertion of the disc, or some of the gears inside of the DVD drive are damaged. Lots of times, one of the kids will stuff a penny, credit card, or some other foreign object inside of the Wii's disc slot. The following website sells the DVD drive mechanisms and does repairs on the Wii as well:

Console was droped and now we have no picture

You should check and make sure that all the wires are connected tightly to the screen of the television and to the wii, sometimes it makes that funny noise when the wires are there but are loose. I hope if works. If it doesn't then you may want to try to connect the wii to a different TV and if it still doesn't work then you should probably contact nintendo.
