I cannot connect

Three things need to be in place before you dig deeper into your issue. This is based on this being in the Router category ;

1. Test the Source of the inbound signal. You can do it by plugging that network cable directly into the back of your desktop or laptop. When you plug this into the router, typically 4-5 ports on a home unit, plug the source, into the very last one. It may be color coded different than the 4 other ones.

2. Make sure that your Router has a power source & the front panel begin to light up, even if they are not green yet.

3. Make sure that you have a good ethernet cable plugged into one of your Router's remaining 4 ports, ideally use #1, removing any others until your issue is resolved. Plug the other end into your desktop or laptop.

4. Within a minute or two, port #1 on your router should turn green stating that it has a good connection. If not, look on the back of your computer, where the cable plugs in and see if you have any lights blinking ? If yes, your network card is working and trying to make a connection.

Still having connection issues ? With all lights working, no matter what color they are, reboot your computing device. Rebooting fixes alot of issues.

Good luck,

Emachines Will not detect ethernet cable

With the machine on and the cable connected on both ends (1 to computer and the other end to the Router or Modem that needs to be powered up) look where the cable plugs into your computer. Is there a green or orange light on. There may be two. Normally one that stays on steady is the CONNECT. This one is normally green color LED. When Data is being transmitted a second LED will be flickering showing data transfer. If you have no LED lights showing directly by the Ethernet cable, try another cable. Reminder: also make sure you have power on the router/ cable/dsl modem.
Hope this helps..

Power light is dim and the 4 ethernet connection lights are bright green - even without a cab. Linksys WRT300N

First try unplugging it for about 45 seconds. Then plug it back in.
If this does not fix the problem try to reset it via the reset button on the back and see if that fixes the problem. This will make your network un-secure and you will have to add a new pass phrase.
Let me know if this solves the problem.

Panasonic 50": lamp blew, replaced it and ever since the screen looks really dim, even through different outputs (cable, HDMI, Component) and with the brightness jacked up, and it still looks really...

you probably need to clean lens and optics in the light engine. Also if it is a lcd projector inside of the light engine in front of the lcd is a glass color filter one for red ,green, blue they can darken and lose or even change color.I would clean optics and check and clean filters.Or you could replace light engine.

Your power supply or regulator in you laptop has gone south. sorry no quick fix for this one. It needs repaired and would include tracking down soldered connections.

When I connect the ethernet cable to my tower, I gave an orange light. What could be causing this to happen?

What Orange light are you refering to? You have an orange and green LED on the block of the Ethernet connecter, if the cable is plugged into the plug and the other end is terminated into another deive such as a modem, bridge, router or switch the orange light(led) should come on as that indicates a valdi link hence being called the link light, the green light(led) indicates data being received or transmitted. If orange flash with sparks(bad) from the plug it means there is power on the cable..very bad as this could be due to the ethernet card that is faulty or the device on the other end of the cable is faulty.

ASUS A8JP Will Not Power On

"When the charger is connected to an AC source, the green LED shines steady and bright."

are you talking about the led on the AC-adaptor? cause if its that led that dims down, its a defective ac-adapter (even tho you still might not believe me). replace it and try again.

how would you know that the battery is fully charged?

please rate my solution after you have tested if it works out for you :)
