Open the case or cover on the side where the expansion cards are installed. The CR 2032 is lithium 3 volt BIOS battery, you can't miss it. It is 20 mm diameter and it is shiny.

Cmos checksum bad Chassis Intruded Fatal Error System Halted!

Hi,
To remove CMOS Checksum error, you have to remove the coin cell battery from the motherboard and install a fresh one. A coin-cell battery (CR2032) usually powers the real-time clock and CMOS memory. The battery is 3 Volts, 3/4" in diameter and has an estimated life of three years. When the computer is plugged in, the standby current from the power supply extends the life of the battery.
Just open the desktop, locate the CMOS (Coincell) and remove using screw driver. Replace the battery with CR2032 or an equivalent one.The following brands are used interchangeably for this item: Energizer (ECR2032), Duracell, Panasonic, Eveready, and 3M etc, which can be purchased from any local electronics store.
For Chasis Intrusion msg, go to the BIOS (when prompted, press the Function Key at the system startup) and locate the option of chasis intrusion option and disable it, save settings. Commonly, to enter the BIOS you have to press F2, F10 or DEL Key, depending up the make/ model of the PC you have.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

Website's security certificate problems

There is nothing to worry about. This issue is just because of the date settings on your PC are invalid. Adjust the date (to current date/month/year) and you would be able to log-on normally. This may have been caused due to incorrect settings or the worn out CMOS/RTC Coin cell Battery.

Does any batteries support any sort of motherboards

Any brand of CMOS battery will work on any motherboards as long as it has the same size. Make sure to bring your CMOS battery when buying a new to make sure the size is the same.

A problem with the pass word in the start

The main board has a battery commonly used as CR2032. Extract it from it location during 30 seconds once you have taken out the main battery and power from your Laptop.
Install again the CR2032 and it will be the manufacturer's password.

Thanks.

I need to replace the battery on my centerpoint scope

I'm not sure which model you have but the most common battery location is under the reticle switch on the ocular lens housing, you have to hold the base of the switch with one hand and turn off the cover with a coin in the other hand. The most common battery for these scopes is a CR2032 button style battery.
Hope this helps, Mark the Gunsmith

Please leave feedback, Thanks!
