How do you change your blackberry pearl ringtone?

Step1- Go to Profiles (speaker icon), select that and you will get the options: Loud, Vibrate, Quiet, Normal, Phone Only, Off, and Advanced.
Step2 - You want to click on advanced. Once that is open, you will have the same options as above. Click on the one that you want to change.

Step3- Once you do that you will get the following options: browser, calendar, level 1 messages, messages (email addy), messages (desktop), messenger (alert), messenger (new message), MMS, Phone, Push to talk alert, push to talk message, SMS text, tasks.

Example: Loud (click the button to the left of the trackball and you will get several options like: browser, calendar, level 1 messages, etc.

Step4- Click on the one that you want to change...in case of the ringer, it would be phone. then it gives you several other options like out of holster, tune, volume. You would go to "tune" click on that and change it to what you wanted your ringer to be.

Hope this Helps !!! Thank you for using Fixya !!!

Can't get sound to work

Which OS are you using. Anyhow on the task bar see if the speaker icon is crossed, if yes click on it and deselect mute. If not seen then press left arrow on the task bar, you will find speaker icon, unmute it.
See whether the speaker connection is properly plugged into the green socket marked Output.
