Bought a samsung a177 and put my sims card in and used my sims password,then it askes for pin #for the phone?can i reset the phone?

The phone is not any network but still there is a sim lock with unknown password and no other sim card can not be used hard reseting codes default password are not working plz help

well sir I also faced this problem.the sim you put in your phone had sim lock .you must had put sim lock key 3 times wrong .the phone is asking you the PUK code .ask the customare care for it.
