Question about Fagor 5HA-196 X Single Oven

Open Question

Hello, My Fagor 5HA-196 X Single Oven's clock keeps resetting itself. The clock flashes 12:00, and shortly after I set the clock it resets itself and the 12:00 and the clock symols both flash. If it stays set long enough for me to start the oven the problem reasserts itself within a few minutes of use. When the problem occurs when the oven is on it also flashes the electrical symbol that looks like a wall plug. The troubleshooting guide in the back of the instruction book just tells me to turn off the oven and reset the clock. This has not fixed the problem, so I replaced my 32 Amp circuit breaker with a 40 Amp, also with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx!

SOURCE: Hello, My Fagor 5HA-196 X

Did you tried connecting the oven power cord to any other separate power outlet.Connect oven to the outlet, when only oven is connected and no other appliance is connected.------- The power is getting cut for a second .It can be issue with wall electric outlet.Or the oven is not getting exact power/voltage.Or the over power cord is getting short internally.Or the issue with oven power control board timer. Its cutting off every few seconds and this resets the time.--- If this is the case then board is weak and it has to be replaced.----- First try check in other separate power outlet. If that is not helping then get the over voltage and power outlet voltage checked by the tech.If both checked out ok, then get the over power cord checked by meter. If meter shows drop in voltage, then there is cut in between the over power cord wire.------ But if all power cord wires, the electric wall outlet, the voltage, everything checked ok, then its timer control board issue. It has to be replaced.------------

You can get required parts from online sites like: --- www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site.

This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Fagor oven has error code F06

I cleaned the smoke filter, took of the top cover, in front of electronics is the brown smoke sensor. I took of one wire off the sensor, started the oven (beware of not shortcutting anything) the f06 error message had disappeared. I put back the wire, mounted the top cover and the oven functions like new.

I have a Fagor 5H 196X oven and whenever I set the automatic timer it cuts off after 3 seconds and the automatic shut down symbol appears does anyone have any ideas

Hello,
Please find here our reply from the customer service of Fagor America:
This problem could be confusion over how to properly program an automatic cooking function. First, you must program the cooking duration, then you must program the time of day you want the food to be ready. Sometimes customers think they need to program a “start time” and an “end time” versus a “duration” and an “end time”. Please, make sure you are doing both steps correctly. Also, you should be aware that this clock works on the 24-hour principle (military time). I know that sometimes this confuses people as well. If both of those are okay, then it probably has a defective clock. If that is the case, please feel free to call our customer service:
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and WESTERN CANADA: Please contact ADCO Customer Care at 1.877.743.2467, or by email at: fagor@adcoservice.com

Fagor oven will not regulate its temperature, once

From the symptoms you describe, I would say the oven thermostat is faulty, and in need of replacement.
This is the control you regulate the temoperature with.
