You more than likely need a new phone. Just take it to your service providers, and show them the issue with the phone, and they should trade it out for one that works.

If you say that yo bought another keyboard and it acts the same ..this means that the issue is not from the keyboard..If you also got a receiver for the second one ..and it still done the same after you pair it means the the issue is in the operation system and it needs to be reinstalled..Probably it has some missing files that operates the keyboard signals..
If you have a recovery partition use it and make a recovery of the system to the factory settings ..after that run again the driver for the keyboard and pair it again and will work ..
During the installation use a normal wired keyboard cause the communication its ending during the installation for the wireless ones..
If you do not have a recovery cd ..(or you have one just with the drivers ) you will need a boot-able one with the operation system ..and do not forget to save the important files to another partition from the C drive (my documents too) cause on all installation processes the C partition is formatted and you will loose them ..

Yes, your never suppose to put it under heat to dry, nor put any type of spray because spray obviously contain water, which kills your phone. So, if even the battery isnt orange indicating 'water damage', the keyboard itself is damaged. If possible, which is the best solution: you should call your cellphone provider and tell them that your phone all of a sudden stopped working, and most likely they will look into getting you a new phone. But dont tell them what you did, because they wont do anything about it after. Also, connect your phone to Desktop Manager on your computer and back up on all your information (phonebook, bbm contacts, ect.) so nothing gets lost, if anything was lost.

Good luck,

Have you tried reseating the keyboard? This means you need to remove the keyboard, pull the keyboard connector off the motherboard and then reseat the connector. If this does not work, sounds like you need a new keyboard. Spill anything on it lately? Is it dirty, full of crumbs of food?

My blackjack's keys wont work

First off, how do you know it's the keys, rather than something else? More details are always helpful. An important question is, can you see or hear anything at all, by any means? If someone calls you, does the screen light up?
If you see incoming calls, but can't answer them because the keys don't do anything, then I'd ask if the phone might have the keyboard locked. You'll be able to tell because you'll see "Unlock" in the lower left of the screen when someone calls or you press the power button (top left edge, above the screen). If it's locked, pressing the "..." button to the left of the wheel will tell you how to unlock it (just the "*" button down by the "0" button on my Blackjack).
If you don't see anything when someone calls, you might want to figure out if the phone is working at all.
A couple of ideas (sorry if any of these seem obvious - it's bad form to miss simple solutions):
1. Is the phone powered on? You can turn it on by holding down the power button (top left edge, above the screen) for several seconds. If you make it to 10 without the phone coming on, then it might be the screen, the battery, or the phone itself.
2. Is the battery dead? Try plugging the phone in and then holding down the power button, as above. If it still won't work, try removing the battery, then plugging it in and doing the same thing over again. When you plug the charger in, you should see a Duracell-like image on the screen, even if the phone is turned off. If you still don't get any sounds or anything on the screen, it sounds like the phone has serious trouble - probably needs professional help.
3. If you hear sounds ("swooshing" on mine) when you turn it on or off and the keyboard lights up, but don't see anything on the screen, it sounds like the screen might be bad - probably needs professional help.
4. Finally, you could try connecting it to your computer with the sync cable. I haven't done that with mine, so you'll have to read the instructioins, but it might let you know that the phone is working internally, but having communications problems through the keyboard and/or screen. If that's the case, you can try fixing it yourself or get an estimate from a professional. Good luck!

Check if there is anything stuck or jamming the button before buying a new one, but i think it is likely you'll get a new one. Because sometimes the key won't work, as somthing is preventing the trigger.
