I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model number FGBD2431KF purchased around 2009. Water is not pumping out.

Sc. Check the drain valve, remove the pump and test it. If it is not the pump then probably a relay or switch. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Hi,
Have you checked for power to the pump???

It sounds like you are not even getting power to the pump... the relay on the main board is not sending the power to the pump, so it will not run because of no power coming to it...

Check for power and replace the board if there is no power...if you get power at the pump, it is installed incorrectly or you have a bad pump...even new ones are bad sometimes...

How do I find the pump on model #she44c06uc/48? Dishwasher wont pump water out?

Hello

When you say pump out water, do you mean the drain pump used to empty the hopper? Usually dishwashers have two pumps, one to empty it and one to supply water to the wash arms. If it drains but doesn't spray it sounds like spray supply pump is gone. Could be just a loose connection or it a dodgy contactor or relay, or the pump itself. Someone with a very basic knowledge of electricity and a multi meter could very easily diagnose this and you may be able to order the part.

Water remains in machine. Machine stops after a minute or so and diplays F11.

F11 means Drainage fault.

Water present in appliance and is not being drained off. The display shows Drain fault F11. The buzzer is activated for 2 minutes.

Background information:
After each drain pump step, the circulation pump operates for 2 seconds and heater pressure switch B1/13 checks the water level. If it is too high (large quantity of residual water remaining in the cabinet), the drainage time is extended. If, after a further check, the water level is still too high, then the program is interrupted, the fault code is saved and the drain pump is activated. Fault code F11 is also registered if heater relay 1K1 is not activated after the fault code F51 register check; see Section 080-3.18. Drain hose kinked. Remedy: Check the drain hose for correct positioning.

Cause: Drain blocked.
Remedy:
1. Clean the on-site drain.
2. Check the sump drain.
3. Check the filters.
4. Check the heater pressure switch and replace it if necessary.

Cause: Ball in non-return valve in sump has not opened (e.g., jammed).
Remedy:
Clean the non-return valve in the sump or replace it if necessary. Cause: Foreign objects in the drain pump.

Remedy:
Clean the drain pump and its impeller.

Cause: Drain pump defective.
Remedy:
1. Check the voltage supply to the drain pump.
2. If correct voltage is present, check the drain pump motor winding.
3. Replace the drain pump, if necessary.

Cause: Foreign objects in heater pressure switch.
Remedy:
Check the heater pressure switch for blockages and correct switching point.

Cause: Heater relay defective. Heater relay (coil or contacts) becomes defective during the drainage step (after fault code F51 register check).
Remedy:
Replace the heater relay.

Hope this helps to solve it.

My Miele G2430 dishwasher stops right after draining in the first minute or so after starting, and the intake and drain light comes on. The solenoid at the end of the intake hose then clicks and the light...

Hi

Intake/Drain light flashing means an issue while draining. The dishwasher is not draining properly. Please check for air gap on the dishwasher is not clogged. It prevents dishwasher from draining properly and sometimes the drain flow is restricted due to gunk. Cleaning or bypassing the air gap will resolve the issue. If this doesn't resolve the issue then it is due to seized (or stuck) drain pump. Keep handy large bowls and towels to soak the water out. Disconnect the power to the dishwasher or turn off the breaker to the dishwasher. Tip machine on its back; remove screws that hold the bottom tray on. Remove the hoses to the main motor, remove electrical connections and switch it on. If the error still appears then turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs to cancel the error message. Switch the appliance off and then back on again. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Dishwasher fills with water but it never circulates, the timer still works because it will drain and cound down like normal.

check whether the pump is getting ON to pressure the water. CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY AND CLEAN IF THE CONTACTS ARE NOT MAKING CONTACT ( if mechanical timer) For electronic timer you have to check the the relay connected to the pump motor.

My frigidaire gallery ultra quiet III dishwasher does not spray water within the barrel case; is my surge pump gone?

Yes Yourr Pressure pump that does teh high pressure spray is not working. Now identify the wires to the pump and check the voltage during the cycle .If present the pump is faulty and must be replace. However if there is continuity on the coild ccheck to see that a reset can make it work from a strck up condition.
If there is no voltage on the pump the controller unit is faulty.check relay , check board..

Not cleaning Fills up with water at the bottom. Just not spraying. I took off everything inside to clean it out. Down to the grinding wheel. Pump feels like it running.

The water first gets pushed into the dishwasher from the water supply, then fills up until the float detects the water level, the water then gets drained into the sump pump and either drains to the plumbing or shoots up through the arm inside the dishwasher. Thats a basic cycle anyways. If it is draining into the sump pump like its supposed to, and not coming out through the arm, then something is blocking it or a solenoid/relay isnt working properly on the pump. If its not draining at all, which you would be able to hear if it were from the sucking or gargling sounds, then the same follows, just in different areas. I know its not to technical, just hoping to shed some more light on the situation.
