Antifreeze in engine

Anytime you have coolant in the oil and it's not the oil cooler it means the engine must be disassembled to locate the failure. The next options are not so pretty. There are three remaining causes for coolant in the motor oil and all require engine dis-assembly. This can be tricky because the repair overlaps and it is difficult to tell which one is causing the problem. For example: A repair shop has told you the cylinder head is cracked, and as they start dis-assembly they can discover it was the intake manifold gasket that has failed. It's up to the honesty of the repair shop to inform the customer that the cost of the repair will be less. Or the opposite can happen, example: A repair shop has told your engine has a blown head gasket, once the dis-assembly is complete they inform you the head gasket is ok, and the cylinder has been pressure checked and is ok. This only leaves the engine block as the failure and must be replaced to repair the problem, and that can be very costly. Always check the intake gasket first on V6, V8 and V10 engines. Then the cylinder head gaskets, cylinder heads and finally the engine block.

SS5LS slow bulding pressure

typically on a ss5L5 the head gasket has gone bad. Disconnect tubing and remove the 6 bolts on the head . gently tap the head and valve plate. Mark these pieces before dis assembly for assembly. If you pick up both pieces as one , turn them over you will probably see a piece of the gasket missing at the smallest point between the 2 cylinders this gasket needs to be replaced. You can purchase a head and valve plate gasket or make the one you need if handy with tools. I've done it both ways.

My dell inspiron N5010 's internal speaker is not functioning..but i can hear through my head phones

The problem is in the earphone jack, when you plug headphones into the jack it dis-connects the internal speaker. Since you can hear the sound through the head gear, it indicates the jack is defective and needs to be replaced, or it needs a good flushing of electronic contact cleaner, attach the supplied straw and aim it in the jack and spray, next take the headphone jack and push it in and out quickly, repeat the process three or four times, If this fails the laptop will need to be dis-assembled for continued repair.

Vertical line on my laptop screen that disappears when I press the back of the lid. Cable? Circuit problem?

if your laptop is out of warranty, then try dis-assembling your laptop on the lcd part by using precision screws/flat head drivers. Just look for a little space/on corners to pop it open after removing the screws. Then just reseat the cable connecting from the motherboard to the lcd. Then try to see if the vertical line is still present.

My xbox 360 dvd drive is not coming out or going back into the slot what can i do to fix it

If you havnt dis-assembled the unit, then the case isnt a simple out of allignment issue. If you have dis-assembled the unit, please ensure that all the screws are correctly fitted and everything in line.
It could also be that over time the rubber belts that drive the DVD draw in and out become worn and stretched, causing problems when opening, my XBOX360 has that issue at the moment and requires a sharp smack on the head to open it. Although, I do not recommend tapping or exposing your console to any form of movement whilst a game is in the drawer. Good luck,I hope this helps.

How do i replace a printhead on HP photosmart 3110?

it is a tough job. replacing a print head of that particular printer model includes opening and complete dis-assembly of the printer. If you can decide, it is better to look for a printer dis-assembly manual to guide you through the process. but first, make sure that you have a spare part of your printer ready for replacement just in case.

HI, I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee with a power steering leak in the metal tube joint just above a flange nut, any ideas?

Are you referring to the return line fitting? if it has cracked at the junction to the body of the pump? if so you can replace it or weld it but both require pump dis assembly to do this without damaging pump internals or starting a fire...better off getting a pump from a scrapyard and replacing it.

Gives the error for ink tank full

Before you try to reset your Canon i9100 be sure to remove the ink head itself before attempting and then replace after, it won't work if you don't, I almost threw away 2 good printers before I read this today.
