Take RAM chips out and re-insert firmly. Make sure you got the max RAM chips in each bay and buy quality RAM chips made by Samsung or Crucial or OWC. Also, turn power on and immediately press option-apple logo which is right next to the option key-the letter P- and the letter R all at the same time. A bong noise will come from nowhere like your in a monastery. Keep holding down all the keys until you hear the 3rd bong and then you can let go. This resets the power manager. See if that don't help you any. Also, go into system prefs, select account, select your account on the left side, select login items, then click and highlight on each item, and then press the - button on the screen. Your not deleting these programs-just keeping them from booting when you power on. Sometimes these programs interfere with bootup.

Iphone5c spinning circle next to wireless symbol

That is a indication that you are using data. Close all programs and it should disappear. If not switch off your phone and restart it. If that symbol is constantly spinning you might incur higher data usage and higher bills. Becareful.

My G3 phone is flashing the apple symbol while powering up but isn't powering up.

Thank for contacting Fixya, I will be glad to assist you.

What you can do, in order to resolve this issue, is start by resetting your iPhone 3G.
(Note: this does not remove any settings, data or media you have installed in your device)
• To perform a hard reset, press and hold your Sleep and Home Menu buttons for approximately 10 seconds.
• Once your screen goes black, release both keys. (If you see a white Apple logo before you release the keys you have held the keys to long and will need to start the reset process once again)
• The next screens you should see after the black screen, is the Apple logo screen followed by the main screen.

• This hard reset process should help bring your iPhone 3G back to normal functionality.

It would also be advisable to connect your iPhone 3G via its docking cable and provided wall socket adapter into a working wall socket in order to try and charge it.

If your iPhone 3G still does not charge, try connecting it with the docking cable to your computer or laptop to observe if it will take a charge then.

Should this process also not affect the way the iPhone charges, then you should look into using or purchasing another iPhone docking cable, as the cable itself may not be functional and needs to be replaced.

Docking cables for iPhones are fairly inexpensive (Under $20) and can be found in most electronics/computer stores that carry Apple products and accessories.

Finally, if a replacement docking cable does not help the iPhone 3G charge, this may be a hardware issue and you would be advised to take the iPhone 3G in to your local Apple retail store or Apple Authorized Service Provider in your area.

I was playing a game and all of a sudden the screen went white and wont do anything, not even make a noise.how can i fix it?

Try to reset it. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until either the Apple logo or battery symbol appears. If the battery symbol appears, continue to charge iPod touch until it is fully charged.

If this doesn't work, try restoring the iPod from within itunes.

Iphone won't boot past Apple logo after installing bitesms on 3GS. Phone will not connect with computer. Running on 3.1.2. Thanks Jon

Sometimes the iPhone can lockup and stop working or just show the Apple symbol and not do anything else. But panic not, normally an app has caused the phone to crash and it needs to be restarted.
Here’s how you do it:
Sometimes just pressing and holding the home button for about 5 seconds, can help. But if not try this:
Press and hold the iPhone’s Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for several seconds, or until you see the apple logo on the screen.
If you still have no success with the reset the only other option is to do a restore using iTunes. This will wipe you iPhone bust should get wit working again.

Screen is frozen with the connected symbol. all of a sudden my computer doesn't now reconize the ipod. I've unplugged it several times with no luck.

Sounds like you just need to reset it. Hold down the middle button and the "Menu" button for about 7-10 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.
Hope this helps!

The Apple sign is all i see

Put your phone in DFU mode(THIS PROCESS WILL ERASE ALL APP DATA, AND EVERYTHING ON YOUR IPHONE): 1st plug you phone into your computer. Then Hold the power button and home button at the same time(like a soft reboot), when the phone turns off, hold it for about 2 secs more, then release the power button. The phone's screen will black, but a message in itunes will come up saying that your phone needs to be restored. Click restore and it should resinstall the firmware on you phone. It is up to your discretion to restore your phone from backup or not(after when it is done installing the firmware, and asks how to set up your iphone)
