Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

My maytage dryer mde308dayw drys the clothes, but it takes a longtime. The dryer heats, but water builds up around the inside of the door of the dryer.

You will need to clean the vent system on your dryer. Lint buildup restricts the airflow and will keep the clothes from drying.

Dryer seems to heat-up but clothes do not dry. Substantial humidity inside dryer when opened.

Check your lint filter and the vent . Disconnect the vent hose from the dryer and dry a load . If drys ok , then the problem is between the dryer and where the vent exhausts to .

Dryer turns on, feels warm, but doesn't dry clothes. dry(more/les) setting never moves in over two hours. normaly drys any load in an hour or less...

You must clean the lint filter, then, remove the vent hose from the back and clean it as well, reach inside and clean that too.

Machine drys fine on timed cycles but shuts off before clothes are dry on automatic cycle.

First try cleaning the moisture sensors with rubbing alcohol, these are two silver colored strips located inside the drier just below the lint cleanout

Drying cycle

Is the drying fan rotating(you should hear this)? Or the watertap closed. It uses cold water to make the steam into condense. If tap is closed, the machine has no water to cool the steam with. Check lint filter.
