You will want to drain a good portion of the water up to a third if you have any algae or scum in the pool you will want to shock and add anti algae to the water that is left turn off the filter and cover the pool

Above ground pool leak

Is this an above ground pool or an in ground pool? As a general rule you don't want vinyl to go too long without water. Water helps things stay in place. If the vinyl starts to shrink and bow inward there is a good chance that it will lose its elasticity and split when the pool is being refilled. I would advise you to go ahead and refill the pool. Leaks can be repaired underwater. In the event of a split I'd go back to the installer and pursue a new liner at his expense.

WHAT AND HOW DO YOU VACUUM INTEX ABOVE GROUND SALT WATER POOL

I used the manual vacuum that came with the pool during the summer because I actually got in the pool and vacuumed), but ultimately, now that it is cold, I went to the pool store and bought a much bigger vacuum (that still hooks up to the water hose) and then a longer pole. It's just too darn cold to get in the water during the winter. :-) Hope this helps!

Where do i add salt to my intex automatic salt water system

Ad salt right in the pool water. Filter and brush around to disolve. Do not try to generate chlorine for 12 hours or so.
Make sure your salt content is as close to 3000ppm as possible

We have had a lot of rain and had to let water out of our above ground pool do we need to add more salt to the pool

It is quite possible that you do
It seems every one on here doesn't realize that they need to have the salt water test kit that reads #;s not color
If you were to close to minimum then you will need more salt
What you need to do is get the strips and test
you need to be as close to 3000ppm as possible
lower than 2800ppm and you will not be generating enough chlorine
any higher than 3500ppm and you could get cloudy, taste bad, and trigger an alarm for high salt
Bottom line is you can not guess at the salt content!

Would like to know how to close a salt water pool for winter

There is nothing special about closing a pool based on using a salt water generator system. You can use any chlorine based chemicals for your winter dosing and you drain the lines, including the generating cell, just as you always would.
