I ACCIDENTLY DELETED MY VOLUME ON MY COMPUTER HOW DO I FIX IT

Do you mean that you deleted the icon in the notification area? What OS do you have? In Windows 7, right click on the up arrow in the Notification area. Click on Customize notification icons. In the older versions of Windows, I believe you can do something similar there or in the Control Panel.

If you did something to the hardware driver, check the control Panel (Hardware and Sounds > Sounds in Win 7) or the Device Manager (also in the Hardware section).

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(Macs probably have similar customization options but I do not recall how to set them.)

Best Bet:

Try going to Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore

Go back to before you began removing the programs. Also, remember whenever removing programs always use the uninstall feature, just deleting them can leave a lot of junk in your registry, cause possible corruptions and lead to sluggish PC performance.

If you are using Windows XP or higher, you can try system restore to rollback the computer to before your daughter uninstalled it, but that application often doesn't work. Try re-installing Norton. Fortunately, the installation key is stored on your computer, so it should re-install with no problem. Then it will scan your system during install.
