Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop
Last night when trying to complete end of day reports, the till seems to have locked. It makes a noise when you touch the buttons but does not change screen it is stuck on were it was at last night. \I have turned it off and on but no luck...can you help?
Firstly, make sure you have the keyboard cover on the correct way, and it is seated securely. If you are on a different side of the keyboard, it won't operate correctly.
Otherwise, you can try a flag clear. This will jump the machine out of the current task, and drop you to REG mode.
Turn off the power under the machine.
Hold the TOP RIGHT CORNER button down. It doesn't matter what is on this button. It will usually be one of your items.
While holding, turn the power on again, and wait about 2 seconds. You will see a copyright message on the display.
Now let go of the button, and press the RIGHT side of the SUBTOTAL button (it is a double size button, so press the right hand end of the button).
The machine will check files. Wait until you see 'Flag clear' on the display, and press the YES button.
When the machine reaches REG mode, log a clerk on, and you should be away.
