I have inserted a 2gb memory card to the SGH-900i.Now the problem is whenever I take a Photo and save it..it asks to clear the space in the My photos that is the default folder present instead of going to memory card.
Now I have to move pics from the My Photos folder to Memory card everytime when I have to save a picture.
Now in Samsung SGH D900i,how do we add photo to a contact for the caller Id feature.I have added 1 but when I select the next pic and choose option as Set as Caller Image,it ask for the contact. After that it does not selct that contact but gets fixed with the Default contact to whom a image has been set.

Check the available free memory on phone & memory card. If the phone memory is almost full then your camera will not work. Check the option of saving the photo files in camera menu, which has to be memory card & not phone. Any photo files on phone shall be transferred to memory card. Delete unwanted messages to free up more memory. Please get back to me if the there is sufficient free memory in phone & still the problem remains.
You can transfer your contacts to sim card by going to contact menu then mark it ALL,then put your simcard to another phone like nokia and then upon opening your phone it will automatically ask to save sim contacts to phone then press yes.
You can also transfer the content of your memory card from LG to Nokia by using your computer, just use multi-media card reader and copy everything on your LG memory card then paste it on you computer.Insert your Nokia memory card and then copy all important data from LG files to you current memory card.
Note : if you intend to copy application and games, might not working because the file format of LG is different from Nokia so expect some errors, sort of photo's and video is compatible.
Hope this solution helps.Thank you for visiting Fixya.
Transferring images from a Memory Card to a Windows Computer
Follow the steps below to transfer images from a memory card to a computer running Windows.
Step one: Insert the memory card
Follow the steps below to insert the memory card into the HP All-in-One.
Turn the memory card so that the label faces left, and the contacts are facing
your HP All-in-One.
Insert the memory card into the appropriate slot on the HP All-in-One.
Some portable USB flash
drives with a read-only partition, such as U3 smart drives, might be
incompatible with the front mass-storage port on your HP All-in-One.
These read-only partitions are added by the drive manufacturer and may
include utilities and other software. Refer to the manufacturer for
additional details about your drive.
When the memory card is inserted correctly, the Photo light next to the memory card slots begins to blink. The message Reading...
appears on the color graphics display. The status light next to the
memory card slots blinks green when the card is being accessed.
If a memory card is inserted incorrectly,
the status light next to the memory card slots blinks amber and the
color graphics display shows an error message such as Card is in backwards
or Card is not fully inserted.
Never attempt to remove a memory card while it is being
accessed. Doing so can damage files on the card. Safely remove a card
only when the status light next to the slots is not blinking.
Step two: Transfer images without using the HP Photosmart software
After inserting the memory card into the
HP All-in-One, the memory card appears as a drive on the computer.
Follow the steps below to transfer the images on the memory card to the
Press the Photo
button to display the Photo menu.
Press the down arrow button (
) to select Transfer to computer
Follow the prompts on the computer to complete the transfer of images.
If there are photo files
on the memory card that have never been transferred before, a dialog
box on the computer asks whether you want to save the photo files to the
computer. Click the Transfer
option and all the new photos from the memory card are saved to the
computer.By default, the image files are saved in month and year folders
depending on when the photos were taken. The folders are created under
the C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Pictures folder.
Usually, if you are going to received files via bluetooth it will ask you where you want to save the file, directly to memory card or phone memory, if the phone is not asking you, it is automatically will be saved in phone memory, you should check the phone's memory, that is why it is not accepting the transfer via bluetooth, Check the settings and make it saved to the memory card.
There is one easy solution for the second question: You can set your SGH-L700 to store your photos and/or videos on your memory card. Just go to Settings -> Application Settings -> Camera Settings. Go to the rightmost section using arrow keys and change camera's default storing location as memory card, instead of phone.
The bluetooth problem is not that easy. There is one solution if you send the files from your PC. Just browse your "Bluetooth Devices" from your desktop - your SGH-L700 will appear as an independent device. Double click it's icon, you'll see the folders in it, just like you're browsing your computer's hard drive. Open "Memory Card" folder then drag and drop the files you want directly inside it. I almost always prefer this way when I use bluetooth transfer.
If you try right clicking on a file on your PC and choose "Send via Bluetooth" from the context menu, SGH-L700 receives it directly to the phone memory. So I recommend using "Bluetooth devices" option and placing the stuff directly in the memory card, just like you copy items in any place on your hard drive.
But there is not a standart solution for sending a file from another cell phone to SGH-L700. Some devices can browse SGH-L700's folders like your PC does, but some of them can't - and they just send the files to the phone memory.
