Question about GE Heating & Cooling
E4 means the control module, the "brain" of the unit basically, has error-ed out and failed. You can attempt to kill the power to the device for 5 minutes or more, then restart and many times it will get that module "kick-started" so to speak.
If not you will unfortunately need to get service scheduled on the device, there is no simple fix beyond that.
