Question about Mitsubishi WS-55809 55" Rear Projection Television
You will most likely find, on the power supply board, a 5volt regulator that supplies the microprocessor. It is on a heatsink and is protruding perpendicular from the board on a heatsink. If you examine the copper side of the printed circuit board, there will be dry joints on the three pins making a bad connection. If you can, replace the regulator and your problems should be gone.
