Have you checked monitor settings Carl? Some are set to sleep after a certain period of time. Mine was set to sleep after 1 hour (unknown to me) until I reset it. =)

Acer AL22 Has no image for 1 Hour. Then is OK.

Hello,

That is a common symptom of a failing power supply board. The filter capacitors start to go bad and the power supply can not stabilize and start correctly, after the capacitors are powered up for a while they can hold a charge and the power supply finally gets going. Here is a link to a repair guide for that model.

Dear sir; I have LCD 15'' sumsung monitor, its problem is that the display took time after cpu on. it takes long time about one to two hours to display. However after display there is no ploblem.

Only thing I can think of is that the monitor is dying and takes a long time to warm up. One trick might be to always leave it on (so it stays warm) or replace the monitor and your problem will probably go away.

1999 Toyota RAV4 losing power not stalling it is stumbling & new fuel filter & fuel pressure stays at 46psi

As a quick test,fill-up the tank and do not top off.

Monitor the stalling problem.

If you're starting OK until BELOW 1/3 of the tank then it's a weak/failing fuel pump
==========================
Are you topping off the tank (MAX OUT) of while you're filling?

The emission control system can soak with gasoline if you over fill.

Locate the emission line that lead to the charcoal canister and let it air out under direct sunlight.

After 1-2 hours, reconnect the line and use starting fluid to start the car.

After 10 minutes of warm up time, then take it for a short test drive.

I'm not too sure about dell pc's.But if you think a fuse might be inside there,I'd try to do a search online for how to change that and go from there. However,I'm not really understanding the warm up thing. Is it an LCD screen?

It sounds like one of the capacitators inside the monitor is malfunctioning, these little things store a certain amount of necessary power and then discharge it when it is needed.  If it is malfunctioning, it could explain why it takes so long to charge, and why when you hit it, it suddenly comes on.

Monitor took half an hour to warm up, now won't start.

doubtful this is a driver issue warm up is not needed for any monitor. this is a power board issue internal to the monitor capacitors or some issue on the main power board. let me kow what you will do. good luck.

Monitor takes 1/2 hour to warm up

You need to check the fly back of your monitor maybe experience over heat. It is possible need for replacement but not the whole monitor only the fly back.

Hope you like my solution please rate me solved.
