Question about Seagate (ST3160827AS) 160 GB Hard Drive
Dear sir i have seagate 160gb sata hard disk. in bios it shows 160 gb but in actual it gives only 152gb. i have tried to dm it but no dm matches it. then i tried ontrack to it. it shows 160 gb. but after it when i tried install windows xp it shows only 152 gb. how can i make it full 160 gb. pls solve my problem. & mail me email@example.com
The harddrive size is in another measurement system and the actual size of the drive is exactly what you are seeing 152.
here you can see how my disks show
160GB disk - 152,66GB
1000GB disk - 931.51GB
that is correct.
