All the lights flashing and beeping constantly, wont sew at all , thought it may have been the light blub blown but the light blub only flickers on and off when you turn the machine off

thank you sewman, i am having it checked out by a second repair man tomorrow, he said the same thing that it could just be a circuit board problem. btw what is the button hole lever? is that the thing that drops the foot up and down? sorry you guys call things different to what Us Aussies do lol.

I have the same problem - sewing all Ok, then it just stops, the lights all come on and the buzzer sounds. Checked the button hole thing, but it doesn't seem to move, but I do wonder eather its anything to do with the pedal, as last time it went faster just before it stopped.

Its still in guarantee - done around 1 hour's work so far, so am a bit shocked there may be a problem.

Got excited to be able to use my new machine. Sewed about an hour on it and it won't sew now. Has a series of 4 two beeps and just won't do a thing. I am pretty frustrated and need help before I pack it in and send it to Singer to keep. I loved my old singer. The less technology the better.

I tried re-threading several times, checked the the tension, etc. I am stumped.
I tried turning it off to maybe reset itself, it won't.
I tried ignoring it for a few days, it's the same.

Hopefully it will be something simple. If not, I will be really disappointed in Singer.

First, check the Button hole lever to be sure it is all the way up. If it is you need to take the machine back to the dealer. It sounds like a circuit board problem which is probably covered under your warranty. I believe the electronics are guaranteed for 2 years. You may have to pay for the labor to replace the board. If you bought it from a Discount store (Costco, Wal-Mart) take your receipt and your machine and exchange it for another one.

I believe your machine has a one step button hole(where you place a button in the button hole foot to determine the button hole length)If you tilt the front of your machine up about 3-4 inches and look where the needle goes you will see your needle threader and towards the rear you will see another lever which can be moved up or down. This is your button hole lever and when it is down with the BH foot on it,with a button inside the foot, it determines how long the finished BH is.

My singer curvy starts beeping and lights flashing and won't sew

I just got mine to stop flashing lights and function again when I unplugged the cords from the machine and let it sit for a minute. You can always give that a try.

Sewing Machine light flickers/dims while sewing.

There may be a loose connection. If this is a brand new machine the warranty should cover the repair.

Check the return policy at Sears/K-Mart as it may be better to return it for a replacement.
