Question about Muratec MFX-1200P All-In-One Led Printer
You need the installation CD. When the network install is run from CD the Muratec software creates it's own printer port. Standard tcp/ip ports will not work

GO to the controll pannal and printers and say add printer choose network printer if u know the ip just put your ip address and say next it should detect it if not try to go to command promt and ping the ip with the ping command
if it gets the repply frmtheip so its comunicating

If you are doing it as a local printer ( parralel cable or USB it can be done through Start, Settings, Printers and faxes, Add a printer.
Network is different.
You have to assign or let it get an IP address from the network.
You can enter it manually in the printer
Hit the left arrow to
Standard net setup
Print ( to print out the network settings)
scroll to TCP/IP
enter IP manually by scrolling to each number and hitting select
