I brought a brand new ipod touch, plugged it in2 my computer 4 the 1st time, and it came up with USB device not recognised. So i tryed plugging it in2 my laptop andd another computer, but the same thing happend. Does anyone no how i can fix this? please!!

For it to recongnize, maybe try: 1: go to control panel 2:add hardware 3:connect your hardware device and click "yes i have connected the hardware" 4:scroll down and select install new hardware device 5:select install hardware that i manually select from a list 6:scroll down to windows portable devices 7:and choose MTP device this should make it so your ipod is now recognised by the computer ---John
You should try connecting the iPod to a different computer and see if it works. If it doesn't work, you should try connecting with a different USB cable if you can get a hold of one. One of the two should be your problem (a defective USB port on the computer or a defective iPod USB cable).
