Pull clips holding motor in place; 2 screws 1/4" heads. Use screw flat head driver to pry apart motor from trans, pry of "rotor" ( I am assuming you are speaking of the coupling) use 3/4" deep socket to gently put on new parts. Line up and re assemble, in reverse.

F51 error

Hello, the F51 code is a motor rotor position sensor failure. It's best to call in the warranty service as there is a bunch of tests that need to be run to determine if it's the sensor or control board. If the tech wasn't any help, contact the store for a replacement.

Thanks

F-51 code on kenmore elite oasis washer - how to prevent and or fix

Please see the following Whirlpool Cabrio installation and service manual, the Oasis is essentially the same washer.

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/409753510a90c8be852571e90073421b/$FILE/8178583.pdf

The F and 51 code relates to the motor rotor.

"F then 51 flashes when there is a motor rotor position sensor (RPS) failure. See TEST #3."

The "test #3 is a bit complicated but can be completed if you are reasonably comfortable with test equipment.
