i tried that but it still keeps on turning off. It turns within 2 minutes of turning it on. Do you anyway i can get the pictures transfered to a CD or flash drive? Is it possible to take out the memory and put it in another computer and save the pictures to the second computer?

    thanks !

Dell are known to be air filters!!! open it up, and dust it off with blow off or a compress can of air. Make sure the fan turns on the cpu and that it's not dirty or cluttered with dust.

Good luck!

Tv turns on w/pic then pic dissapears light blinks 4 times

I have the same issue, we've had to change our bulb three times in less than two years. now we have 61" expensive paper weight. Our current bulb is less than 6 months old. The TV is only 2 years old and like i said this is our third bulb.

the blue light blinks 4 times. you get sound. then a few minutes the the picture returns... then it goes out, and the cycle goes on.

A solution to this would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a download limitation using Windows Vista?

first of all turn your antivirus and firewall back on at once, as this is not the cause! i think this may be some cable modem<->vista incompatibility

hi there

you don't need a driver
just connect it
turn it on
open my computer on your desktop
look for an icon or hard drive that wasn't there before
double click it
inside there will be 2 or 3 folders
one of them will have your pics in
copy and paste them wherever you want

hope this helps

Dell E173FP - After sometime the screen switches off

Sorry not a solution - but I have started experiencing the exact same problem over the last month although sometimes, on switching on again, it will run for 10-15 minutes before the problem re-emerges. Initially I put it down to the v. hot weather in July but it still continues. So I would also appreciate any solutions!
