Everyone expects their dishwasher will work correctly. They can become nonchalant about it until one day it does not function. Sometimes the dishwasher doesn't drain as expected. Most people immediately call the plumber when their dishwasher doesn't work. There are several things you can try at home before having to pay an expensive service fee.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); });

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

  • Basic Tools.Rags..
  1. 1 Check the basics. Make sure that the dishwasher has actually finish the cycle. Your dishwasher will not drain until the end of the cycle. Many things may have interrupted the cycle. Check circuit breaker and reset it if appropriate. Also check the fuse. It is possible that you could have tripped a circuit have way through the cycle. Make sure the door is properly closed. Ensure you have chosen a cycle on the dishwasher. It is amazing the problems children could accidentally cause, that are easy fixes.
  2. 2 Remove any excess food at the bottom of the dishwasher. The best way to do this is with your hands. Large food particles can block from going into the drain. This is also another extremely easy fix to make your dishwasher to drain.
  3. 3 Check to ensure that the hoses are still attached. Use your manual to find where the hoses are. If they are not attached the owner's manual will give you instructions on how the attach the hoses to your specific dishwasher.
  4. 4 Attempt to declog the line. Disconnect the hose from under your sink and check to see if there are any clogs. Use a hanger or towels, remove the clog from the hose.
  5. 5 Remove the dishwasher basket. Again refer to your owner's manual for specific instructions.Normally you will remove it with a screwdriver. Make sure to work slowly. As you take the basket apart, you will be able to see if it needs to be cleaned. If there is dirt or debris, you can clean the parts with a rag or paper towel. After cleaning these parts, you can replace the basket.
  6. 6 Call a plumber. If the dishwasher is still not draining, the problems are a little more complex to fix. It is advisable to call plumber to make your dishwasher drain.
thanks.

A lot of water stays at the bottom(in fact) of washed dishes(crockery) What do I have to make?

There is a drain screen on the bottom of the dishwasher that needs to be cleaned out on a regular basis, especially if you put in dishes that haven't been rinsed off. Food waste will plug up the screen and not let the water drain out fast enough

If that screen gets blocked, the water doesn't have enough time to be drained from the washer during the timer sequence and the water will remain at the bottom.

Miele Dishwasher G841 - Water not draining after wash cycle

If you suspect the dish washer, try discharging the drain in a bucket. After the drain cycle check the wash tub. If water is still left, you have to clean the drain filter attached to the bottom. Refer user guide.

The final drain end of the dish washer where you discharge, the fixing junction has to be cleaned, incase it is clogged.

Soapy water standing in bottom not rinsing soap off dishes

It sounds as if it is not draining. Try to trace the drain line under the sink. Usually it goes into a disposall. The port where it connects to the disposall may be clogged. Another thought. If you had the disposall replaced recently they may not have taken the knock out plug out which would give the drain water no where to go.

There is water in built in dishwasher when cycle is done.when you open door it runs out and rest remains in bottom of dish washer about an inch and a half of water.

The drain hose is supposed to go from the garbage disposal to a high point under the sink in back to keep the water from gravity draining into the dishwasher when it shuts off. If you look you will see that the hose is laying on the bottom of the sink cabinet. Get a hook and wire it up so you're not washing dishes with water from the disposer. Be sure to run the disposer. if it is clogged with food the dishwasher will not drain, water will back up and drain back into the dishwasher. Also make sure that the pipe exiting the disposer isn't clogged and draining slowly. hhe best solution is to have an air gap that mounts on the sink. It goes between the washer and the disposer to keep this from happening.
