If you have enough suction and it still does nothing, even after replacing the shoes, it probably needs a turbine kit with "a" frames. if the bearings are bad on the turbine or a - frames, it won't let it achieve enough range of motion to actually move the unit. I would recommend installing a turbine kit, with a-frames. hope this helps.

I have the same problem. Changed EVERYTHING including bearings, turbine , shoe pads, "Y" rocker framesw and bearings. Still does not work. Has great suction at the hose where it connects to the Navigator but only a limited amount of suction where the water should be entering the opening at the bottom. Very little suction there and the turbine turns when I hold it just under the surface and tap it with my finger but it still turns very slowly. I've covered all the vents on the exterior of the unit with duct tape but still cannot get adequate water flow over the turbine. Where coule the water possibly be entering to bypass the turbine?

My 2007 Chevy Aveo stalls at lights and stop signs. I had the 2 sensors related to the timing replaced, the throttle box replaced, and a new coil, all in the past month, but nothing has changed.

a simple test here is to idle the car, and put your foot on the brake
if it stalls then the problem is a faulty brake booster
every body sits at lights /stop signs with their foot on the brake not realizing it and miss that bit of evidence in determining a problem
check for vacuum leaks ( transmission actuator hose, vent controls) run fault codes to see if there are problem sensors

Problem with brake sensor on navigator

The brake pad sensors identify how many revolutions the tire makes before coming to a complete stop, based on how hard you press on the brake. Most cars are equipped with two brake pad sensors: the rear and the front.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our navigator stop working. Is there a complete rebuild kit for it?

When I tune-up a Navigator I usually replace the wings, flags, pads, pods, turbine and A-frame. Some of those are kits but i don't think you can buy just one kit that does it all.

The Hayward Navigator pool sweep does not move. The pressure is 7.5, the suction seems to be okay, and the "flippers" move, but the pool sweep just sits there.

You may need to replace the pads on the flippers. You can get new 'feet' for your cleaner at any dealer . They just pull off and press on, They go on only one way so check the tabs before you press them on.

Rubbing noise from rear passenger side of an 03 navigator

I would guess it is a brake pad that is a little slow releasing sometimes.

The brake pad ,is coming out of the assmbly

time to replace the pads, replace either both front or both rear pads. while you have the pads off, inspect the rotors for even wear.

Pulsating breaks

Who else drives this car? Going fast and quick stopping, riding the brake will get the rotors very hot. When they are very hot and you stop and sit with your foot heavy on the brake this will squeeze the rotor at one spot, as hot metal under pressure will bend and distort. This will result in the problem you are having.
