Make sure you put the black cup back on the end of the motor shaft and that it is pressed all the way on. Make sure the RPM sensor is plugged in. If neither of these are the issue, then you probably did not have the motor shaft pushed all the way back when you tightened the coupler after replacing the worm gear. Loosen that coupler up and from the front of the motor (opposite end in which the coupler is on) push the shaft back as far as it will go. Hold it there while you tighten the coupler back up and then try it.

Have a chamberlain 132c2105-4 u it. Door moves up a few inches and down a few inches. Have played with limits and travel and sensitivities but can't get it to travel further. Help. Gordon

The chamberlain garage door openers have a label with the model number close to the light bulbs. The number you gave is the number of a label. Also, the "PART NO:" is just the receiver board part number.
Pull the cord to release the opener and check the full travel of the garage door. If it binds or catches, that might be stopping the opener from working. If that's not the problem, check the main gear by unplugging the opener and removing the shell. Then plug it back in and see if the gear contacting the worm gear on the motor shaft slips. That is the most likely worn part that needs replacing.

My l/m door goes down but come right back up help

This can be one of two problems ! First problem can be that their is something blocking the infrared sensors that would cause the door to go back to the up position but in most cases if their is something blocking one of the sensors the door should not even move and just make a click sound and you will see the lights flashing on the garage door opener , it can also be a mis aligned sensor not pointing directly at the recieving sensor or vice versa! Ok if that was,nt the issue then you can make shure that the door isn,t traveling further then where it needs to stop to be closed, sometimes the chain or belt depending on your opener loosens up and can add an extra inch of travel to the door causing it to return to the up position, to fix this you have 2 adjustments on your opener ...1 will be a pressure adjustment ...you can turn the adjustment to midway #6 to add some pressure so that the opener does not sense the xtra travel of the door , You can also backoff on the downtravel adjustment a turn or two and that will make the door not come down as far ...This adjustment is used to set how far the door goes up and how far you want the door to come down, you will see a picture of the door on both of these adjustments with an arrow letting you know which way to turn the screw ..remember each full turn of the screw equals 1/4" inch of travel to the door just follow the direction of the arrow or turn the screw counter clockwise for less travel !,,,Hope this helps you Sincerely Glenn

Water on/off is in the wrong position after changing the moen cartridge in my shower

Put your cartridge back the way it was originally. By rotating 180 you reverse the hot and cold. Leave the handle and plastic adapter off. Turn on your water supply and turn valve with the plastic adapter until the water is shut off. Remove the adapter and install it with the set screw for handle facing down. Put your handle back on and that should take care of problem. (I did the exact same thing as you today....small world)

2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD Blend door actuator is out of index. Before installing it on the HVAC box it was tested causing it to overtravel. Is there any way to adjust it back to where it should be? I do

remove the actuator . then study the position of the female part of the actuator that actually turns the door shaft. study it enough ,so you know where the actuator really should be when it holds the door shaft in the middle position. then carefully open the actuator itself with the female part facing down. this keeps all the gears in the places they belong. (IMPORTANT) Then without turning any gears or shafts, remove the gear that drives the female part. The gear to remove is about 1 inch in diameter. It has a smaller gear below it that is part of it. Do not remove the female part. with this 1 inch gear removed, the female part can now be turned to the proper position.Again do not remove the female part. Just turn it to the center of its travel space. After putting the gear back in and snapping the assembly together, the actuator can be turned upside down with the female part facing up. Move the door shaft to the center of travel and reinstall the actuator. Hope this helps.

Chamberlain 4200C doesnt open or close properly

You did not sync the chain correctly. If you have not touched the travel limits, take chain off sprocket and run door to either up or down position. Put chain back on with trolley in up or down, accordingly. Tension and make final travel adjustments.

Check, The black interruptor cup. See if it has powder from gear on it , Remove particles, And run a Q-Tip between the two little towers on the RPM sensor, Which the interruptor cup rotates into to count rpm cycles.
